How can you spot a genuine Heinz pack from a counterfeit refill?

Counterfeit baby food packs are a real risk when buying imported goods in Bangladesh. Check that the seal is intact and unbroken before purchase—refilled packs often show signs of reopening or poor resealing around the edges. The printed expiry date should be clear, sharp, and impossible to peel off; fake packs sometimes have labels that lift easily or dates that look hand-written or blurry.

What should a first-time user know before serving this custard?

This ready-to-eat custard needs no cooking or mixing—open the pack and serve it straight to your baby at room temperature or chilled, whichever suits your routine. Start with a small spoonful if your baby has never eaten this brand before, watching for any reaction over the next few hours. Most babies manage the smooth banana and custard texture without difficulty, but your health worker can advise if your child has specific dietary needs.

How do you store this pack and how long does it last once opened?

Keep unopened packs in a cool, dry cupboard away from heat and sunlight until the expiry date printed on the back. Once you open the pack, use the contents immediately or transfer leftovers to a clean container and refrigerate for no more than twenty-four hours. Throw away any portion that has been left at room temperature for more than two hours.
