How do I check if this tin is genuine and not refilled?
When your Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease arrives, examine the tin's seal carefully for any signs of tampering or previous opening. Authentic imported packs have a factory-sealed lid with no dents, loose edges, or adhesive residue where a new label might have been applied. Check that the manufacturing date and expiry date are printed directly onto the metal surface, not stuck on as a separate sticker, and verify the batch code matches the product information provided by ukdirectbd.
What is the right way to prepare and feed this formula to my baby?
Always follow the feeding guide printed on the tin's instructions, which shows how much powder and water your baby needs based on their age and weight. Use only cooled boiled water, never tap water, and use a clean, dry measuring scoop to avoid contamination or incorrect ratios. Prepare only the amount your baby will drink in one sitting, discard any leftover mixed formula after two hours, and never reheat prepared bottles.
How long does one tin last and what should I expect as a new parent?
A 400g tin typically provides feeding for one infant over approximately four weeks, though intake varies as your baby grows and appetite increases throughout the first year. First-time users often find the first few days involve some adjustment as babies adapt to the formula taste and digestive response. Keep one extra tin in stock to avoid running out, order regularly based on your baby's consumption pattern, and always consult your doctor or health worker before switching formulas or if you have concerns about your baby's feeding.
