How do I know if my Boots tube is genuine and not refilled locally?
Authentic Boots Cucumber Moisturising Cream arrives with a factory seal that runs completely around the tube cap and cannot be removed without breaking. Check the printed batch code and expiry date on the back—genuine packs have crisp, aligned lettering that does not smudge when rubbed lightly with a dry finger. If the seal shows signs of tampering, the printing looks blurry, or the tube feels unusually light, contact the seller immediately before opening.
What is the right way to apply this cream and how often should I use it?
Dispense a coin-sized amount onto your fingertips and gently massage it into clean, dry skin using upward strokes until fully absorbed. Most people use it twice daily—once after morning cleansing and again before bed—though you may adjust based on your skin's response. During your first week, apply sparingly to test for any sensitivity, and expect a light, fresh sensation as the cream settles into your skin.
How long does one tube last and what should I expect in my first month?
A single 100ml tube typically lasts five to seven weeks with daily use on face and body areas. When you first start, your skin may feel noticeably softer within three to five days, and any tight or dry patches should feel more comfortable by the end of week two. Store the tube upright with its cap sealed tight in a cool cupboard, away from direct heat and steam, to maintain product quality throughout the month.
