How do I spot a genuine CeraVe pot versus a refilled container?
Authentic CeraVe Moisturising Cream arrives in a sealed plastic pot with the original manufacturer's label intact and clearly printed. Check that the batch code on the base is crisp and legible, not faded or re-stamped, and verify the lid seals firmly without gaps or cracks. If the pot feels suspiciously lightweight, the label appears worn, or the seal shows signs of previous opening, the product may be counterfeit or repackaged locally rather than genuinely imported.
What is the right way to apply this cream and how often should I use it?
CeraVe Moisturising Cream works best when applied to clean, slightly damp skin once or twice daily depending on your skin's dryness level. Scoop a small amount onto your fingertips and massage gently into the face and body until fully absorbed. Most first-time users notice their skin feels softer within days, though full hydration benefits typically show after consistent use over one to two weeks.
How long will one pot last and where should I store it at home?
A 454g pot typically lasts one person four to six months with daily application, though shared household use may deplete it faster. Keep the container in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight, and always replace the lid immediately after use to prevent the cream from thickening or drying at the edges.
- Large 454g pot sealed with original manufacturer label and batch code to verify authenticity.
- Rich, thick cream consistency designed for daily face and body moisturising applications.
- Unopened pot maintains quality for months when stored in cool, dry conditions away from heat.
