Wavex - Luxury Massage Chair (C124) Black costs ৳251,680 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How can you spot a genuine Wavex C124 against a counterfeit or refurbished unit?
When a massage chair arrives at your door, the first thing to examine is the factory seal on the outer shipping carton and whether the inner packaging shows signs of previous opening or resealing, which would indicate the unit has been used before or passed through unauthorized hands. Genuine Wavex chairs imported by Furnitex come with intact protective plastic wrapping on the upholstery, clear labeling with batch information and manufacturing dates on a sticker affixed to the frame itself, and a remote control housed in sealed plastic with batteries in a separate compartment. If the carton appears dented in ways that suggest deliberate opening and resealing, or if the black upholstery shows creasing, wear marks, or discoloration patterns that suggest prior use, you are likely holding a refilled or relabelled unit rather than a new import.
Counterfeit or grey-market versions often feature printing inconsistencies on the control panel labels, slightly misaligned logos, or battery compartments that do not close smoothly because the casing has been reused. The genuine imported model carries consistent weight and a solid feel to every component; if something rattles inside the armrest or the base feels hollow or unstable when you press down, this signals that original parts have been substituted. Always request that the seller photograph the unit unpacked and the serial number visible before delivery, and compare it against documentation that Furnitex can verify.
What does the remote control tell you about authenticity and readiness to use?
Your remote control arrives with fresh batteries already inserted and a plastic tab preventing accidental activation during shipping, a detail that separates new imports from refurbished chairs that are simply given a quick wipe and resold. The buttons should respond with a soft, consistent click without sticking or requiring excessive pressure, and the LCD display on the control panel (if present) should illuminate smoothly with clear digit visibility. Before powering on the chair for the first time, confirm that all mode buttons are labeled in English and that the instruction sheet included in the box matches the model number C124 printed on both the chair frame and the remote itself.
If you receive a remote without batteries, or with batteries that appear corroded or leaking, or if the buttons are sticky or unresponsive from the moment you unpack it, this is a sign that the chair has either been stored in poor conditions or operated before reaching you. Genuine units ship with a small printed quick-start guide that shows the massage modes available and basic safety warnings; if your documentation is missing or water-damaged, escalate this with your seller immediately because it often correlates with improper storage or prior use.
How often should you use this massage chair and what should first-time users expect during their first week?
Most people find that twenty to thirty minutes per session, once daily or every other day, delivers the relaxation and muscle relief they seek without overusing the mechanical components or causing fatigue from prolonged sitting in one position. When you sit down for your first session, start with a lower intensity setting and choose a gentler massage mode so your muscles can acclimate to the mechanical action; your body may feel unfamiliar sensations as the rollers move across your back and the heating element warms your lower spine, and this is completely normal. Some users report mild muscle soreness similar to the feeling after a new exercise, which typically subsides within two to three days as your body adapts to regular use.
During your first week, experiment with different mode combinations and intensity levels to discover which patterns feel most beneficial for your particular body type and the areas where you carry the most tension. The heat function pairs well with the rolling massage and can be toggled on or off depending on whether you prefer warmth; many first-time users benefit from starting without heat and adding it once they are comfortable with the massage rhythm itself. As you move into your second and third weeks, you may gradually increase session length and intensity based on your comfort, but there is no requirement to do so—consistency matters more than duration, so a shorter daily session will serve you better than sporadic longer sessions.
What physical conditions or circumstances mean you should avoid using this chair?
If you have had recent spinal surgery, a diagnosed fracture, or acute injury to your back or legs, you should not use this massage chair until a medical professional has cleared you to do so, because the mechanical rolling action could complicate healing or cause additional discomfort. Pregnant individuals should consult their healthcare provider before using the chair, particularly regarding the heat function and intensity settings, since pregnancy alters how your body responds to external pressure and warmth. Anyone fitted with a pacemaker or other electronic medical device implanted in the torso should avoid this chair entirely because the electromagnetic fields generated by the motor and heating element could potentially interfere with device function.
People who experience numbness, tingling, or nerve-related pain in their back or legs should use this chair only under guidance from their doctor, as the mechanical stimulation could either help or aggravate the underlying condition depending on its cause. If you have osteoporosis, bone weakness, or a condition affecting bone density, discuss usage with your healthcare provider before beginning regular sessions, since the rolling massage applies sustained pressure across your skeletal frame. Children should not operate or sit in this chair unsupervised, and elderly users with balance concerns should have assistance when entering and exiting to prevent falls.
How does the chair fit through your doorway and into a standard living room layout?
The Wavex C124 is designed with overall dimensions that pass through standard doorways found in most Bangladesh homes and apartments, though you should measure your entry points and confirm them against the specifications sheet included in the shipping documentation before taking delivery if you live in a heritage building with narrower passages. The chair ships partially assembled with the base, seat, backrest, and armrests as major components that are bolted together rather than requiring complex joinery, meaning setup typically requires only a wrench and perhaps thirty minutes of careful positioning. Once assembled, the chair occupies a floor footprint comparable to a large recliner, and the base extends slightly forward, so you need clear space in front of the chair to allow the footrest to extend fully when activated.
The black finish suits contemporary and traditional interiors alike and conceals minor dust or scuff marks better than lighter upholstery colors would over months of daily use. If you have limited floor space, measure your available area before confirming your purchase; this is a substantial piece that cannot be folded, stored vertically, or tucked away, and it should remain in a stable location once positioned. The power cord is approximately two meters long, so proximity to an electrical outlet is important—avoid using extension cords if possible, and ensure the outlet is grounded and can handle the chair's power draw without flickering lights in adjacent rooms.
What is included in your purchase and what does the price on this page represent?
The price shown on this product page reflects the cost of the Wavex C124 chair itself as imported and quality-checked by Furnitex before shipment to you, and it does not include standard nationwide delivery charges, which are calculated based on your delivery location and the courier partner assigned to your order. You receive the assembled chair (minus final bolting of base components), a remote control with batteries, an instruction manual with diagrams and safety information, a warranty card detailing the coverage period and terms, and any included accessories such as cushion inserts or protective covers that may accompany this model. Additional costs such as installation assistance, removal of packaging materials by the delivery team, or extended warranty plans are optional services offered separately and will be quoted to you before you confirm your final order.
Furnitex brings these chairs into Bangladesh directly from the factory, which means there are fewer intermediaries between manufacture and your home, and that efficiency is reflected in the pricing you see here compared to other imported massage chair options in the market. If you are comparing this model against others, factor in the delivery charge applicable to your address, which will be displayed in your shopping cart once you enter your location details. The warranty card specifies what defects are covered and what is considered normal wear or misuse; review this carefully upon receipt so you understand your recourse if a mechanical component fails within the covered period.
