Wavex Electric Massage Boss Chair (AR13) Chocolate costs ৳132,000 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳165,000.
How Can You Tell This Chair Is Genuine Furnitex Import and Not a Refurbished Copy?
When your Wavex Electric Massage Boss Chair (AR13) arrives from our warehouse, the packaging itself tells you whether Furnitex brought it in fresh or whether someone has resealed an older unit, because genuine imported stock carries specific markings that counterfeiters struggle to replicate accurately. Open the box carefully and examine the factory serial label on the underside of the seat base, which should display crisp printing with consistent ink depth, whereas refilled packs often show faded or reprinted numbers where the original identification has been scratched away or covered. The chocolate-colored upholstery should smell faintly of new fabric and industrial treatment, not musty or chemical-laden as returned chairs often do after sitting in warehouses, and the foam padding beneath should feel uniformly dense without compressed patches suggesting previous heavy use.
Furnitex's genuine imports arrive with armrests that require bolting to the frame, packaged separately in sealed plastic alongside an instruction sheet printed on standard paper with clear English and Bengali text, whereas counterfeit operations often assemble everything beforehand to hide poor welding or misaligned components, making disassembly impossible without damage. Run your hand along all welded seams on the steel frame, where authentic manufacturing shows smooth, consistent beading without rough edges, drips, or gaps that suggest amateur repair work attempting to hide frame damage from previous assembly lines or accidents during transit between ports and resellers.
What Should You Do When Your Chair First Arrives at Your Home or Office?
Before you sit in your new Wavex chair, take thirty minutes to inspect every component while it remains in the delivery box, because identifying damage immediately protects your right to report issues to Furnitex rather than discovering problems weeks later when use has obscured their origin or when you might be blamed for causing them yourself. Check the chocolate upholstery for tears, pulls, or stains by running your fingers across the entire seat and backrest surface, examine all five caster wheels to ensure they roll smoothly without grinding or catching sounds, and verify that the backrest tilts backward without binding and the pneumatic cylinder raises and lowers the seat height through its full range without resistance or air-hissing that indicates a leak.
Locate the electrical cable and plug among your package contents, and before connecting it to a wall outlet, inspect the cord for any cuts, fraying, or unusual discoloration that might suggest damage during shipping or storage, because unsafe wiring can create fire or shock hazards that no warranty covers if you proceed despite visible damage. Assemble the armrests using the four bolts and washers provided, tightening them firmly by hand until snug, then test the massage function by plugging in the chair and pressing the control switch to confirm the electric motor activates smoothly without grinding or unusual vibrations that might indicate internal component misalignment.
How Often Should You Use the Massage Function and What Results Should You Expect as a New User?
The electric massage system built into your Wavex chair operates continuously while activated, delivering gentle vibration to your backrest, and new users typically find that operating the massage for fifteen to twenty-minute sessions provides comfortable relief without causing fatigue or overstimulation, so starting with this duration and adjusting based on your personal preference ensures you discover the rhythm that works best for your body rather than assuming longer sessions produce better results. Many first-time users notice that the sensation feels strongest when you lean back fully into the upholstered backrest, allowing the vibration to distribute across your entire spine region, whereas sitting forward or using poor posture may reduce the massage effect's perceived benefit because the backrest makes less complete contact with your back surface.
Your body will adapt to the massage stimulation over your first few weeks of regular use, meaning that sensations which feel intense during your first session may feel mild by your third or fourth week, which is completely normal physiological adaptation rather than a sign that your chair is failing or losing its function, so you should not immediately increase usage duration simply because you notice diminishing novelty in the sensation. Running the massage function daily remains safe for most users, though some people find that using it three to four times weekly provides sufficient stimulation without creating dependency on the sensation, and discovering your own comfortable rhythm takes experimentation rather than following a rigid schedule that might not match your actual body needs or lifestyle patterns.
Which Users Might Find This Chair Uncomfortable or Unsuitable for Their Situation?
Anyone with recent spinal surgery, active back injury, or medical conditions affecting the spine should consult their healthcare provider before using the massage function, because electric vibration can interact unpredictably with healing tissues or aggravate certain physiological conditions even though the chair itself is designed as standard office furniture rather than medical equipment. Pregnant individuals sometimes find that sitting in any rigid boss chair for extended periods causes lower back discomfort, and while the massage feature might seem like a solution, the combination of vibration and prolonged sitting pressure can create complications, so checking with your doctor represents the safest approach rather than experimenting with features that might affect your pregnancy or comfort.
Users weighing significantly more than the chair's intended capacity may experience reduced cushioning comfort and potential damage to the pneumatic cylinder and casters over time, though Wavex does not publish specific weight limits in its standard documentation, so you should request clarification from Furnitex directly if you believe your weight might exceed safe operating parameters rather than risking chair failure during use. People with sensitivity to vibration or those who experience migraines triggered by rhythmic movement might find the massage function actively unpleasant rather than relaxing, and in such cases, you can simply leave the function inactive and use your Wavex as a standard boss chair without any performance loss or warranty impact.
How Does Delivery Work and Why Is the Price on This Page Not the Final Amount You Will Pay?
The price displayed on this product page represents the chair itself as Furnitex has priced it for sale through ShampooBD, but completing your purchase requires adding a separate delivery charge based on your location within Bangladesh and your selected courier method, because different regions have different shipping distances and handling requirements that we calculate automatically during your checkout process. Standard nationwide delivery typically arrives within the timeframe advertised by your chosen courier partner, though you should confirm the specific delivery window when you complete your order rather than assuming a delivery date, because traffic conditions, regional accessibility, and courier schedules all affect how quickly your new Wavex arrives at your address.
Payment through cash on delivery means you inspect the chair's packaging and condition before handing payment to the courier representative, giving you the opportunity to refuse delivery if the box shows obvious damage or signs of tampering, though you should arrange any damage claims through Furnitex immediately after refusing delivery rather than accepting a damaged package hoping to resolve it later. The total amount you eventually pay includes this product's price plus your delivery charge, which appears during checkout before you confirm your final purchase, so you will know the complete cost before your payment obligation becomes binding and before any courier company processes your shipment.
What Does Your Warranty Cover and How Long Does Furnitex Stand Behind Manufacturing Defects?
Furnitex provides warranty coverage for manufacturing defects that appear during your first year of ownership, meaning that if welding fails, the electric massage motor malfunctions, or structural components show defects resulting from factory assembly errors rather than misuse or accident, you can report these issues to ShampooBD and work toward resolution through the standard warranty claims process. Warranty does not cover damage you cause through accidents, dropping, liquid spills, intentional modification, or normal wear and tear that develops from regular use over months and years, because distinguishing between manufacturing defects and user-caused damage requires professional inspection, and Furnitex's warranty protects against factory mistakes rather than protecting against consequences of ownership.
To file a warranty claim, contact ShampooBD with clear information about what malfunction you are experiencing, photographs showing the problem if possible, and your original purchase documentation, because Furnitex will evaluate your claim and determine whether the issue qualifies for warranty service or whether it reflects damage outside warranty scope, and attempting to repair your chair yourself typically voids any remaining warranty coverage even if the repair fails or causes additional problems. Your warranty becomes null if you attempt to disassemble components beyond basic armrest removal, apply solvents or cleaners to upholstery without testing in an inconspicuous area first, or expose your chair to outdoor weather or moisture despite its indoor-only design specifications.
