How can you tell if this imported boss chair is genuine Furnitex stock and not a refilled or relabelled piece?
When you receive the Comfortable Luxury Boss Chair (FT-H186) from Furnitex, the packaging itself tells you whether this is an original import or something that has been sitting in a warehouse and repackaged by middlemen or resellers. Examine the outer carton for signs of previous handling—if the seals look torn and re-taped, or if the printing appears faded and reprinted over, you are likely looking at a returned or refurbished unit that has been dressed up as new stock. The model number FT-H186 should be printed clearly and consistently across both the outer box and the inner frame sticker, with no spelling variations or smudged characters that suggest cheap reprinting.
Inside the box, the gray upholstery should show no discoloration, creasing from prolonged sitting, or fading that indicates the chair has already been used for months in someone else's office. The foam padding beneath the fabric ought to feel uniform and firm when you press it, not compressed in certain spots where weight concentrated over time. Check that all mechanical parts—the base, casters, and height adjustment lever—move smoothly without grinding sounds, and that no bolts show rust or fingerprints suggesting assembly and disassembly. Furnitex products come with documentation that matches the batch code on the frame; if you receive no paperwork or if the paperwork does not reference the FT-H186 model by that exact code, you should contact ShampooBD immediately to verify authenticity.
What should a first-time boss chair user expect during the first weeks of regular use?
Your body needs time to adapt to sitting in an ergonomic office chair if you have previously used a dining chair, kitchen stool, or other casual seating for work, because the FT-H186 supports your spine and thighs differently than furniture not designed for long-hour desk work. During the first two to three weeks, you may notice the seat feels firmer than expected, and your lower back might become aware of the lumbar support in ways that feel unusual; this is normal and represents your muscles adjusting to proper alignment rather than slouching. The gray upholstery may also feel slightly slick at first, but this surface texture smooths into a more familiar grip as it settles with use.
By the end of the first month, the chair's foam will have settled into a shape that conforms to your sitting pattern, and the adjustment mechanisms will become intuitive as you fine-tune the height and tilt to match your desk and your personal comfort zone. You should expect that initially you will move around more frequently because the chair encourages better posture, which feels active compared to sinking into soft furniture, but this movement actually reduces fatigue over an eight-hour workday and prevents the stiffness that comes from deep slouching in undersized seating.
How often should you adjust the seat height and backrest, and what positions work best for different tasks?
Your feet should rest flat on the floor with your knees at a ninety-degree angle whenever you are performing detailed work that requires focus, such as typing reports, reviewing documents, or attending video calls, because this position distributes your weight evenly and keeps your shoulders relaxed rather than hunched toward a screen. The seat height adjustment lever on the FT-H186 allows you to raise or lower yourself to achieve this posture, and you should check this setting once when you first sit down each morning and again if you move to a different desk or if multiple people use the same chair throughout a week. When you stand up to stretch or take a break, you do not need to readjust anything—simply return to your previous height setting by using the lever, which will snap back to the position you left it in.
If you spend part of your day in meetings or on phone calls where you need to recline slightly, you can use the backrest tilt function to lean back into a more relaxed angle, though you should return to the upright position for any work requiring concentration and precision. Most users find that leaving the chair at one setting throughout the workday, with perhaps one adjustment mid-afternoon when fatigue sets in, provides the best balance between comfort and productivity without constant fiddling that distracts from your actual tasks.
Who might find this boss chair less suitable for their workspace or body type?
The Comfortable Luxury Boss Chair (FT-H186) in gray is engineered for adults of average to tall build who will spend four or more hours daily in seated work, so if you weigh significantly more than two hundred kilograms or require specialized medical seating due to spinal conditions, you should consult the specifications provided with your delivery or contact ShampooBD to confirm that this model meets your particular needs. Similarly, individuals under five feet in height may find that even at the lowest adjustment setting, the seat height places their feet slightly off the floor, which can create pressure under the thighs; in such cases, a smaller chair model or a footrest placed beneath the desk would be necessary to achieve the proper ninety-degree knee angle.
If you have a very small workspace—less than two meters by two meters—the chair's footprint and the rolling radius it requires might leave you cramped, and you would benefit from a smaller task chair or a fixed-base design instead of the mobile base that the FT-H186 provides. People who move their seating multiple times throughout the day or who need to access shelving and cabinets directly behind the chair without standing up may also find that the casters roll too freely and require constant re-positioning, which can become frustrating rather than functional.
What does the price shown on this page include, and what are the separate delivery charges?
The amount displayed at the top of this product page represents the cost of the Comfortable Luxury Boss Chair (FT-H186) in gray itself, and this is the figure you will pay to Furnitex through ShampooBD at the moment of purchase or on delivery depending on your payment method choice. The delivery charge is calculated separately based on your location within Bangladesh and is shown in your cart before you finalize your order, so you will know the total cost—the chair price plus the courier fee—before you commit to payment and before your transaction is confirmed.
If the price shown here appears to be significantly lower than the same chair listed on other websites, do not assume there is an error or that ShampooBD is offering a temporary discount, because prices fluctuate regularly as inventory changes and import costs shift, and comparing across shops at different moments will lead to confusion. The price you see today is the accurate current price for that moment, and ShampooBD guarantees that you are receiving a genuine Furnitex import at whatever that price is, with no hidden markups or surprise charges added at delivery time beyond the courier fee you agreed to in your cart.
What maintenance does the gray upholstery require to stay looking new, and how does it handle stains?
The gray fabric covering the seat and backrest of the FT-H186 has been chosen specifically because it resists visible dirt and minor dust accumulation better than lighter colors, so routine maintenance involves nothing more than running a dry, soft-bristled brush over the surface once per week to remove loose dust and particles that settle during normal office use. If you eat or drink near your desk, spills should be blotted immediately with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub or scrub, because rubbing spreads the liquid deeper into the fabric fibers and makes staining worse, whereas blotting from the outer edges toward the center of the spill contains the moisture and allows it to evaporate from the surface.
For stubborn marks that do not disappear after blotting, mix a small amount of mild dish soap with cool water, dampen a cloth in this solution, and gently dab the affected area, then dry immediately with a separate cloth to prevent the soap residue from attracting more dust later on. Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or alcohol-based cleaners on the upholstery, as these will discolor the gray tone and may damage the fabric weave, and do not attempt to machine wash any removable covers unless the manufacturer's documentation explicitly states that they are detachable and washable, which the FT-H186 seat and back are not designed to be.
