How Can You Spot a Counterfeit or Refilled Office Chair When Buying Imported Stock?
When you purchase an imported office chair like the Complete Multifunction Chair (FT-B995) Red from China through Furnitex, the first thing you should examine is the packaging and labeling before you accept delivery or open the box. Genuine imported furniture arrives in sealed, professional packaging with consistent printing quality, clear manufacturer stamps, and batch or serial numbers that match documentation provided by the authorized importer—counterfeit or refurbished units often show smudged text, misaligned labels, or missing identification marks entirely. You should also inspect the actual chair frame and mechanisms under bright light; authentic imported pieces display uniform welds, consistent fabric color across all panels, and smooth mechanical movement without squeaking or grinding sounds that would indicate reused or low-quality components.
Beyond the physical inspection, ask Furnitex directly for proof of origin documentation or import paperwork that confirms the shipment came from the legitimate Chinese manufacturer, not from a third party or reseller who may have refilled the original parts with inferior materials. The seat cushioning should feel firm and evenly distributed rather than lumpy or compressed in certain areas, which would suggest the chair has been used before or the foam has been replaced with cheaper alternatives that won't maintain comfort over time.
What Is the Correct Way to Set Up and Adjust This Chair for Your Body?
Once your Complete Multifunction Chair (FT-B995) Red arrives, begin by positioning it near your desk so that when you sit upright with your back against the rest, your feet rest flat on the ground with your knees at roughly ninety degrees and your thighs parallel to the floor. Use the seat height adjustment mechanism—typically a lever or pneumatic control underneath the seat—to raise or lower yourself until this posture is achieved, as improper height will cause strain in your lower back and legs throughout the workday. The armrests should align with your elbows when your arms hang naturally at your sides, providing gentle support without forcing your shoulders up toward your ears.
The reclining backrest should be adjusted by loosening or tightening the tension control (usually located on the underside of the seat) so that when you lean back slightly, the chair moves with you but does not flop backward uncontrollably or resist your movement too firmly. Most users find a moderate tension setting works best for transitioning between focused work and brief rest periods throughout the day, allowing you to shift your posture without standing up constantly.
How Often Should You Use This Chair, and What Should a First-Time User Expect?
The Complete Multifunction Chair (FT-B995) Red is engineered for daily use in professional and home office environments where you may spend six to ten hours seated, so you can confidently use it every working day without concerns about premature wear or component failure if you maintain the recommended adjustments and avoid putting excessive weight on the armrests or tilt mechanism. During your first week of use, you may notice that the cushioning feels slightly firmer than you anticipated because new padding has not yet conformed to your body shape, but this is normal and represents the chair's durability rather than a defect—over two to four weeks of regular use, the seat will conform gently while maintaining its supportive structure underneath.
First-time users often discover that switching between the upright and reclined positions every hour or two significantly reduces afternoon fatigue compared to sitting in a fixed posture, and the fixed armrests provide consistent shoulder support once you find the right seat height that complements your desk and monitor setup. You should expect the chair to operate quietly with no squeaks or rattles if it has been properly assembled and adjusted, and any noises that develop after a month of use usually indicate that a connection has loosened and can be tightened with basic tools.
What Signs Indicate You Should Stop Using This Chair or Seek a Different Model?
If you weigh significantly more than the manufacturer's recommended weight capacity—typically stated in the product documentation from Furnitex—you should not use this chair as prolonged use will cause the base to wobble, the seat to sink unevenly, or the mechanisms to fail prematurely and potentially cause you to fall. Similarly, if you have existing lower back conditions or medical restrictions that require specialized ergonomic seating with lumbar support beyond what this standard office chair provides, you should consult your healthcare provider about appropriate seating solutions before purchasing, as this model is designed for general office comfort rather than therapeutic support.
You should also reconsider this chair if your workspace requires constant twisting or sideways reaching that places stress on the base's swivel mechanism beyond normal office movement, or if you have severe joint conditions affecting your neck, shoulders, or hips that make fixed armrests uncomfortable rather than helpful. In these circumstances, a chair with more specialized features would serve you better than forcing yourself to adapt to a general-purpose model.
How Does the Delivery Process Work, and What Price Will I Actually Pay?
When you order the Complete Multifunction Chair (FT-B995) Red from ShampooBD, the price displayed on this product page represents the base cost of the chair itself, and you should carefully review the shipping section below to see what delivery charge applies to your area within Bangladesh, as nationwide courier services charge varying fees depending on your location. Most orders arrive within the standard timeframe for furniture delivery in your region, and you will have the option to pay cash on delivery, meaning you inspect the chair when it arrives and pay the full amount only if you are satisfied with its condition and packaging.
Before completing your purchase, add the displayed delivery fee to the chair's base price shown on this page to calculate your total cost, and verify that the delivery address you provide matches where you want the item left, since office chairs require someone to be present to receive and check the package before payment is made. If you notice any damage during the delivery inspection, document it with photographs and contact ShampooBD immediately rather than signing for the item, as this protects your right to return or exchange the chair.
What Materials and Build Standards Should You Expect From This Imported Chinese Chair?
The Complete Multifunction Chair (FT-B995) Red uses a reinforced metal base designed to support daily pivoting and movement without developing wobbles or developing cracks over years of routine office use, and the seat and backrest are covered in durable red upholstery fabric that resists staining and discoloration better than lighter cloth options while remaining easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The padding underneath this fabric is a medium-density foam that maintains its shape and supportive feel through extended use, rather than cheap thin foam that compresses flat within months and leaves you sitting on a hard shell by the second year of ownership.
The swivel base mechanism uses sealed bearings to keep dust and debris from entering the rotating joints, preventing the creaky, grinding sounds that develop in lower-quality chairs after a few years in typical office environments. The armrests are fixed in position rather than adjustable, which means they will not loosen, shift, or wobble over time as you rest your arms on them repeatedly—this design choice sacrifices flexibility for stability and durability, making them reliable rather than customizable for every possible body size.
