Office Chair Commercial Furniture Mesh (FT-H898) Blue costs ৳6,157 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳7,654.
How can I verify this chair is genuinely imported and not a refilled or relabelled copy?
When your FT-H898 mesh office chair arrives from Furnitex, the first step is examining the packaging and frame for signs of authenticity. Genuine imported commercial furniture comes with consistent labelling, clear manufacturer stamps on the metal frame itself, and packaging that shows no signs of having been opened and resealed previously. Look closely at the base and underside where the model number FT-H898 should be clearly embossed or stamped into the metal, not merely stuck on with a label that could peel away.
Counterfeit or refurbished chairs often have mismatched component colours, loose welds on the frame that appear rough rather than smooth, and mesh fabric that feels thin or synthetic in an unusual way compared to the original specification. The blue mesh on an authentic unit will have a consistent weave pattern without bunching or discoloration in specific areas that would indicate the fabric was removed and reattached.
What should I expect during my first week of using this commercial office chair?
Your new chair will feel slightly stiff initially because the mechanisms and materials are brand new and have not yet settled into regular use patterns. The height adjustment lever, tilt function, and wheel movement may require slightly more effort in the opening days as lubricants and moving parts become accustomed to being operated, which is entirely normal behaviour and does not indicate any defect in the unit itself.
You may also notice the mesh fabric developing a mild indentation where your body weight rests most heavily, and this is expected as the material molds to your sitting position over the first few days of use. Within a week, the chair will feel considerably more responsive and comfortable as the initial stiffness fades away completely.
How often and for how many hours per day is this chair designed to support daily use?
The FT-H898 is engineered as a commercial-grade piece intended for shared office environments where it may be occupied by different users throughout the day or used continuously during standard eight to ten hour work shifts. The mesh construction and reinforced frame allow for extended periods of sitting without requiring recovery time between uses, making it suitable for call centres, corporate offices, and reception areas where chairs are in near constant rotation.
For optimal lifespan and consistent performance, you should ensure the chair is not occupied for more than twelve consecutive hours without at least a two hour rest period, and avoid exposing it to moisture or direct sunlight during non-working hours, which accelerates wear on the mesh fabric and wheel mechanisms.
What are the actual space and measurement requirements before I position this chair in my workspace?
This commercial office chair requires a floor area with a minimum radius of seventy centimetres from the chair's centre point to allow the wheels to roll freely without obstruction, and your desk itself should be positioned with adequate clearance on all sides so that the chair base does not jam against walls, filing cabinets, or other furniture when you roll backwards during work. The seat height adjustment range is typically compatible with standard office desks in Bangladesh, though if your workspace features non-standard desk heights or custom-built work surfaces, you should verify the adjustment mechanism's maximum and minimum positions against your specific setup before purchase.
Additionally, this chair is not suitable for installation in confined spaces such as small home offices measuring less than two metres by two metres, low-ceiling work areas where overhead clearance is limited, or environments where the rolling base might interfere with machinery, stairs, or high-traffic walkways where unexpected movement could create a safety concern.
Why does this chair cost what it does compared to cheaper alternatives available in Bangladesh?
Commercial-grade office furniture from established manufacturers like Furnitex is priced higher than single-use home chairs because the construction standards, material durability, and structural testing are significantly more rigorous and comprehensive. The mesh backing material itself is treated to resist moisture absorption and odour accumulation in ways that budget alternatives simply are not, which directly extends the usable lifespan of the chair from one or two years to three or four years under normal office conditions.
When you calculate the cost per month of ownership over a longer period, a commercial mesh chair becomes more economical than repeatedly purchasing cheaper chairs that deteriorate rapidly, and businesses purchasing multiple units for their offices recognize this value proposition immediately as a matter of practical budget management and operational continuity.
