YD 10 Inch Android Car Player – 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM costs ৳7,150 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳8,800.
How can you spot a genuine YD 10-inch unit from a counterfeit or relabeled pack?
When you receive your YD 10-inch Android car player from us through Ruhan Motors, you need to inspect the packaging and the device itself with careful attention to detail, because the market for imported car electronics in Bangladesh contains many relabeled units and refilled boxes masquerading as new stock. Check that the box seal is intact and shows no signs of previous opening, and examine the serial number printed on both the box and the device backing to ensure they match exactly without scratches or overprinting that suggest tampering.
The genuine YD unit will have consistent printing quality on all labels, and the plastic wrapper should feel factory-crisp rather than reapplied, while the internal components including the RAM and storage chips should show no discoloration, dust, or fingerprints that indicate prior installation or testing in another vehicle before reaching you.
What does the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage mean for your actual driving experience?
Your YD player will run multiple applications simultaneously without freezing or stuttering when you are navigating with Google Maps while playing music and receiving phone calls over Bluetooth, which is the real-world test of whether this device works as a genuine upgrade to your car's dashboard system. The 8GB of memory means that switching between apps happens instantly, and you won't experience the lag or black screens that plague cheaper android units with only 2GB or 4GB of RAM.
The 256GB of internal storage lets you download entire offline map regions for areas where your mobile network is weak, store thousands of high-quality music files without relying on streaming, and maintain dashcam video footage if you install a compatible dashcam application, all while keeping your phone's own storage completely free for other uses.
How should you properly connect and install this device in your car?
Your YD player requires a standard 12-volt car power connection, which your installer will run from either your car's battery or the accessory power line depending on whether you want the unit to power on automatically with the vehicle or only when you turn the ignition key, and this basic electrical work can be completed by any competent car electrician in under one hour without special tools or knowledge. The device connects to your existing car speakers through standard audio cables, so you are not forced to buy additional expensive equipment unless your car's speakers are genuinely worn out.
The touchscreen will sync with your smartphone through either Bluetooth wireless connection or a USB cable plugged into the front panel, allowing you to mirror your phone's screen, access your contacts list, and control your music without taking your eyes off the road for extended periods during your daily commute or long highway journeys.
What should you expect in the first few weeks of using your new Android car player?
When you first power on the YD unit, it will take several minutes to fully initialize and load the Android operating system, and you may notice that the first time you download apps from Google Play, your network connection seems slow because the device is indexing your installed applications and syncing your account information in the background, which is completely normal behavior. Your steering wheel buttons should automatically pair with the device if your car supports steering wheel control integration, though some older vehicles may require your installer to manually configure this feature using the settings menu.
Over the following week, as you use the device regularly, you will notice that app performance improves noticeably because Android caches frequently-used applications in the RAM, and your personal preferences for music, navigation routes, and call contacts become synchronized across your phone and the unit's display, making the entire experience feel more responsive and personalized to your driving habits.
Who should avoid purchasing this particular device for their vehicle?
Your car must have a dashboard cavity or head unit space that accommodates a 10-inch display unit, which means you should measure your existing dashboard slot before ordering, or consult with a professional installer who knows your specific car model and can confirm whether a standard aftermarket unit will fit without requiring expensive custom modifications or cutting into your vehicle's interior trim. If your car has integrated steering controls that use proprietary connectors rather than standard wiring harnesses, you may face additional configuration work or compatibility limitations that are specific to your vehicle's manufacturer.
This device is designed for permanent dashboard installation in stationary vehicles, so if you need a portable solution that you can move between different cars or remove frequently for security reasons, you should explore other product categories that emphasize portability over integrated functionality.
What is included in your purchase, and how do delivery charges work?
Your YD 10-inch Android car player arrives with the touchscreen unit itself, the necessary power cables for connecting to your car's electrical system, and the audio output connectors for linking to your existing speakers, but the cost does not include professional installation labor, which you must arrange with a qualified car electrician in your area unless you possess the technical expertise to handle 12-volt automotive wiring safely. The price displayed on this page reflects the current cost of the device itself, while any delivery charges to your address within Bangladesh will be calculated and shown to you during the checkout process based on your location and the courier service selected.
Delivery across Bangladesh operates through standard nationwide courier networks, and the exact timeline for your order to arrive will depend on whether you select cash on delivery or prepaid payment options, so you should confirm the delivery estimate with the final checkout screen before completing your purchase.
