Understanding Your Imported Office Table: How to Verify Authenticity
When you purchase the Workstation Office Table for 2 Person with Front Table (FT-003) in Black from ShampooBD, you're receiving a product imported directly from China through Furnitex, our trusted supplier. Because this is an imported furniture item, it's important to know what to look for when your package arrives. Genuine imported office tables come with proper packaging that clearly displays the supplier's branding, manufacturing details, and handling instructions. Check that all labeling matches what appears on our product page—the model number FT-003, the color specification (Black), and Furnitex's documentation should all be consistent and legible.
Counterfeit or substandard versions of popular office furniture often circulate in secondary markets. A genuine piece will have consistent welding or joinery, uniform paint or coating without drips or uneven patches, and hardware (bolts, screws, hinges) that feels substantial and properly finished. Take time to inspect the table upon delivery before signing off on the courier's paperwork. If you notice mismatched components, missing parts, or packaging that appears tampered with, contact us immediately with photographs—we stand behind every item we bring into Bangladesh and will arrange a replacement or refund.
Assembly and Setup: Getting the Most From Your Workspace
The FT-003 is designed as a two-person workstation with a front table component, making it ideal for shared office environments, small businesses, or home studios where two people need separate but adjacent work zones. Before assembly, lay out all components in a clean, spacious area and verify that you have received every part listed in the packing slip. Read through the entire assembly manual (which accompanies your shipment) before beginning—this prevents confusion and ensures you don't install components in the wrong order.
Assemble on a level floor, as an uneven base will cause the table to wobble and may stress the joints over time. Tighten all bolts and fasteners firmly but do not over-tighten, as this can strip threads or crack the material. If your floor is uneven, use shim pads or adjustable feet (if included) to stabilize the table. Once assembled, test the stability by applying gentle downward pressure at different points along the tabletop. The front table section should align flush with the main work surface—if there's a gap, loosen the connecting bolts slightly, adjust the alignment, and retighten.
Maintenance and Proper Care for Longevity
Your black office table will maintain its appearance and functionality best with regular, simple care. Dust the surface weekly using a soft, dry microfiber cloth to prevent dirt accumulation in the finish. For stubborn marks or spills, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap and water—avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive scrubbers that can damage the black coating. Wipe the cloth dry immediately after cleaning to prevent water pooling or streaking.
Check all bolts and fasteners every three to four months, particularly if the table is in daily use. A vibrating workspace can gradually loosen connections, which is why periodic tightening keeps the structure sound and prevents squeaking or movement. Avoid placing extremely heavy, concentrated loads on the edges of the tabletop, as this can cause warping or stress on the support frame. If you need to move the table, do not drag it across the floor—lift it carefully with help, or use furniture sliders to protect both the table legs and your flooring.
Space Planning and Ergonomic Placement
Before positioning your FT-003, measure your available space carefully. This two-person workstation requires adequate room not only for the table itself but also for comfortable seating, movement, and cable management around the back and sides. Ensure there is clearance for chairs to roll or for people to stand and stretch. Ideally, position the table away from direct sunlight to minimize fading of the black finish over time, and away from heating vents or air conditioning units that can cause wood or particle board to expand and contract.
Consider the workflow of the two users—will they need to collaborate frequently, or work independently? The front table component serves as a secondary work surface or cable management area, which can be very useful for organizing peripherals, stationery, or active projects. Arrange power outlets and network connections so cables run neatly along the back or underside of the table rather than across the top. Good cable management not only looks professional but also prevents trip hazards and protects cables from damage caused by rolling chairs or accidental snagging.
What to Expect in Your Delivery and Next Steps
Your order will be carefully packed to withstand transport across Bangladesh. The table will arrive in flat-pack form to reduce shipping costs and environmental impact—this is standard practice for all imported office furniture. Upon delivery, inspect the package while the courier is present. Ensure no visible damage to the box, and if anything appears crushed, wet, or tampered with, note it on the delivery receipt before accepting the package.
Once you have accepted delivery and thoroughly inspected the contents indoors, you have a clear record of what you received. If components are missing, damaged, or do not match the product description on this page, reach out to us with photographs and your order number.
