How do I know if my Pond's Cold Cream is genuine?

Genuine Pond's imported directly from the USA arrives with a sealed jar that shows no signs of opening or resealing. Check the label printing quality—authentic packs have sharp, consistent text and the brand logo is perfectly aligned without smudging or color fade. If you notice the seal broken, the label peeling at edges, or cream that looks darker or separates from the jar sides, it may be refilled or relabelled locally rather than authentically imported.

What is the right way to apply this cold cream?

Use clean fingertips to apply a small amount to your face and neck in gentle upward strokes, avoiding the eye area completely. A little goes a long way with cold cream, so start with a pea-sized portion and massage it in lightly until your skin feels soft and nourished. You can use it once daily, ideally at night before bed, and wipe away any excess with a soft tissue after ten minutes if your skin prefers less residue.

What should a first-time user expect when starting?

Your skin may feel pleasantly moisturized and smooth within the first week of regular evening use. Some people with very oily skin might notice slight shininess at first, which settles as your skin adjusts to the richer texture. If you have sensitive skin or are trying a cold cream for the first time, begin with three times per week to let your skin adapt gradually.
