How do I know if this bottle is genuine Neutrogena, not refilled locally?
Genuine imported Neutrogena bottles arrive with a factory seal intact under the cap—check this first thing when your package arrives. The label printing should be crisp and even with no smudging, and the batch code on the back will match Neutrogena's international format, not a hastily added sticker. If the cap feels loose, the liquid inside looks separated, or the packaging shows signs of tampering, contact your seller immediately before opening.
How much should I apply, and how often will I need to reapply it?
Apply enough to cover all exposed skin roughly fifteen minutes before going outdoors, working it gently into your face and any uncovered arms or shoulders. If you plan to swim, stay in the sun for extended periods, or perspire heavily during work, reapply every two hours or right after toweling dry. For daily morning use around town, one application before leaving your home usually carries you through the day.
What should a first-time user expect from the dry-touch formula?
This sunscreen absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a thick, oily layer—most people notice it dries within a few minutes of application. You may feel a slight cooling sensation at first, and your skin should look naturally matte rather than shiny or sticky. If your skin feels tight or uncomfortable after application, you may be using too much; a smaller amount usually works better.
