What Are KIB Led Headlights and Why They Matter for Your Car
KIB Led Headlights are high-brightness lighting upgrades designed to fit most standard car models. With a rated output of 60,000 lumens, these headlights provide significantly brighter illumination compared to conventional halogen bulbs, making nighttime driving safer and clearer. They are an imported product brought to you through Ruhan Motors - Soyrav, ensuring you receive authentic units with proper warranty protection.
Upgrading to LED headlights is a practical choice for drivers who spend time on roads with poor street lighting or who want improved visibility during adverse weather. The bright white light they produce helps you see obstacles, road markings, and oncoming traffic more clearly, while also making your vehicle more visible to other drivers on the road.
How to Identify a Genuine KIB Led Headlight from a Fake One
When purchasing imported LED headlights, it is crucial to know what separates authentic products from counterfeit versions. Genuine KIB headlights come sealed in professional packaging with clear branding, product specifications printed on the box, and a batch or serial number. The packaging should feel sturdy and the printing should be sharp and consistent—not faded or misaligned.
Inside the box, authentic KIB units have uniform construction, smooth lens surfaces free from scratches or bubbles, and securely attached internal components. The connector pins are cleanly finished and fit snugly without wiggling. Counterfeit versions often have loose parts, uneven casing seams, cloudy lenses, or poorly fitted connectors. If you receive headlights from us, they will come with our 6-month replacement warranty, which is your assurance of authenticity and quality control. Always check the packaging carefully upon arrival, and photograph any damage or irregularities before installation.
Proper Installation and Usage Guidelines
Before installing your KIB Led Headlights, ensure your car's engine is completely switched off and cooled. Consult your vehicle's manual to locate the headlight assembly—this may require removing a trim panel or accessing from the engine bay, depending on your car model. Gently remove the old bulb by twisting or unclipping it, then insert the new KIB headlight by aligning the connector and turning it clockwise until it sits flush.
Once installed, test both the dipped beam (low beam) and main beam (high beam) functions to confirm proper operation. Do not touch the lens with bare hands after installation, as oils from skin can create spots and reduce brightness. If one headlight appears dimmer than the other, the installation may not be fully seated—remove and reinstall it carefully. Most car electrics will handle 60,000-lumen LEDs without issue, but if you experience flickering or the headlights cut out, consult a qualified car electrician to check your vehicle's charging system.
Maintenance and Lifespan Expectations
LED headlights are built to last significantly longer than halogen bulbs, often delivering thousands of hours of reliable use. However, their lifespan depends on consistent power supply, proper ventilation around the fixture, and avoiding physical damage. Periodically check that the headlight covers remain clean and free from condensation—a small amount of internal moisture is normal and usually clears on its own, but persistent fogging may indicate a seal issue.
Do not attempt to open or repair the headlight unit yourself, as LEDs require precise electronic control and improper handling can create safety hazards. If a headlight stops working or becomes visibly damaged, it should be replaced. This is where our 6-month replacement warranty becomes valuable: if your KIB headlight fails within six months of purchase due to manufacturing defect, you can contact us for a replacement without bearing the full cost again.
Our Warranty and After-Sales Support
Every KIB Led Headlight sold through ShampooBD comes with a 6-month replacement warranty covering manufacturing defects. This means if the headlight fails to switch on, develops internal cracks in the lens, has loose or disconnected components, or stops working within six months from the date of purchase, we will replace it at no additional charge (provided the damage is not caused by misuse, accident, or improper installation).
To make a warranty claim, contact us with a photo or video of the defective headlight, your order number, and a brief description of the issue. We will guide you through the return process and send a replacement. This warranty does not cover damage from electrical surges, vehicle accidents, or user error such as improper wiring.
