How Can You Be Certain This Desk Is Genuine Furnitex Stock and Not a Refurbished or Rebranded Unit?
When you receive an Electric Height-Adjustable Elevating Desk (FT-Y101) in black from ShampooBD, you should immediately inspect the packaging for Furnitex branding, model number clarity, and factory seals that have not been tampered with or opened before arrival. Genuine imported stock from Furnitex will display consistent printing on all labels, with legible batch codes and country-of-origin markings that match the documentation provided by the seller, whereas refilled or relabelled units often show misaligned text, faded printing, or stickers that have been applied over original markings.
Check that the motor housing, frame welds, and electrical connectors all bear matching manufacturing stamps and that no components show signs of prior assembly or disassembly such as fresh scratch marks around bolts, replacement wiring, or paint that differs in tone from the main frame finish. Request a photograph of the underside of the desktop and the motor assembly before you make your purchase, and compare these images against product literature from Furnitex to ensure every detail aligns with authentic specifications for the FT-Y101 model.
What Is the Correct Method for Setting Up and Operating This Height-Adjustable Desk Once It Arrives?
Before you switch on the electric motor for the first time, ensure that your local power supply voltage matches the specifications printed on the motor control unit, as mismatched electrical systems can damage the desk or create safety hazards that put your home at risk. Follow the installation guide step by step, securing the frame to the desktop with all provided fasteners, checking that no wires are pinched or kinked, and testing the up and down movement slowly through its full range while the desk is empty to confirm that nothing catches or binds during the adjustment cycle.
Once you have verified that the desk operates smoothly, you can begin loading your work surface with your computer, lamp, or other equipment, keeping in mind that the desk has a specified weight capacity that you should not exceed to avoid straining the motor or compromising stability. When you use the control panel, press the up or down button gently and release it once you have reached your desired height, allowing the motor a moment to settle before you begin working, and never force the desk to move if you sense resistance or hear unusual grinding noises.
How Frequently Should You Adjust the Desk Height During Your Work Day, and What Physical Sensations or Fatigue Patterns Might You Notice?
Most users find that alternating between sitting and standing positions every thirty to sixty minutes reduces lower back strain and improves circulation in the legs, though your personal preference and comfort level are the best guides for how often you should make these adjustments throughout your working hours. When you first begin using a height-adjustable desk, you may experience mild muscle engagement in your legs and core as you stand, which is a normal response as your body adapts to varying postures, and this sensation typically subsides after several days of gradual exposure to standing work.
If you notice persistent pain, unusual fatigue, or discomfort in your knees, hips, or lower back after using the desk, you should evaluate whether your monitor height, keyboard placement, or standing duration requires adjustment, as these factors influence how your body distributes weight and tension while the desk is in its elevated position. Keep in mind that standing for extended periods without movement or proper footwear support can also contribute to discomfort, so pairing your height-adjustable desk with an ergonomic mat and regular movement breaks will enhance the benefits you receive from this workspace solution.
Are There Circumstances Where This Desk May Not Be Suitable for Your Needs or Living Space?
If your room has limited floor space or a low ceiling height when the desk is fully raised, you should carefully measure your room dimensions and confirm that the desk's maximum height setting will not create clearance problems that make your workspace feel cramped or unusable for your particular tasks and equipment arrangement. Individuals with certain mobility limitations or balance concerns may find that raising and lowering the desk repeatedly is inconvenient or unsafe without assistance, and if you have young children in your home, you should consider whether the motorised movement poses any hazard if they accidentally activate the controls during unsupervised moments.
Additionally, if your home experiences frequent electrical surges or unstable power supply conditions that are common in some areas of Bangladesh, the motor and control electronics may be at risk of damage from power fluctuations, so you should assess your local electrical reliability and consider investing in a surge protector or voltage regulator to safeguard your purchase over its lifespan.
What Should You Know About Delivery, Installation, and How to Verify the Displayed Price Before You Complete Your Order?
The price shown on this ShampooBD product page reflects the desk itself, but you must clarify with the seller whether delivery charges to your address, assembly at your home, or any installation labour are included in that figure or will be added separately, as these costs can significantly affect your total investment depending on your location within Bangladesh. Before you proceed to payment, confirm the delivery timeframe, ask whether the courier will place the desk inside your home or leave it at the gate, and request written confirmation of the seller's return policy in case the unit arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations upon inspection.
Request an itemised quote that breaks down the desk cost, delivery fee, and any assembly charges so you understand exactly what amount you will pay, and verify this total against the price shown on the product page to ensure no hidden costs are being withheld until checkout or after you have committed to the purchase through payment methods available in Bangladesh.
What Warranty Coverage and After-Sales Support Can You Expect from Furnitex Through This Purchase?
When you buy this FT-Y101 desk through ShampooBD, you should request detailed documentation from the seller specifying how long Furnitex guarantees the motor, frame, and electrical components, and whether the warranty covers accidental damage, electrical faults, or only manufacturing defects that appear within the first month of ownership. Confirm the contact details for Furnitex customer service and ask whether support is available by phone, email, or in-person at an authorised service centre within Bangladesh, as these details are essential if you experience motor malfunction or need replacement parts months or years after your purchase.
Many imported furniture items come with international warranties that require you to contact the overseas manufacturer directly, which can result in lengthy delays or complications if you do not keep your receipt and proof of purchase in a safe location, so request that the seller provide you with clear written records of your transaction before the desk leaves their warehouse.
