ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-K3-720) costs ৳158,080 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How can you spot a genuine imported ELAF locker from a counterfeit or refilled unit?
When your ELAF Digital Safety Locker (FT-K3-720) arrives from our importer Furnitex, the packaging itself tells an important story about whether you have received an authentic Chinese-manufactured unit or something that has been tampered with along the way. Genuine imported packs arrive with consistent printing quality, properly aligned logos, and sealed factory wrapping that shows no signs of having been opened or resealed with tape of a different color or texture than the original.
You should inspect the serial number etched or printed on the unit's frame and cross-reference it against any documentation that came inside the box, because refilled or relabelled units often show mismatches between the external label and the internal identification marks. The digital keypad itself should feel responsive and uniform in button pressure, as counterfeit versions sometimes have inconsistent tactile feedback that becomes apparent within the first few uses. If the instruction manual appears photocopied, faded, or printed on poor-quality paper, this is a strong warning sign that the locker has been repackaged rather than freshly imported.
What does the batch code tell you, and should you worry about expiry dates?
Safety lockers do not expire in the traditional sense, but the batch code printed on your unit's base or side panel serves as a manufacturing date reference and helps Furnitex track which shipment your locker came from, which matters if there were ever a recall or widespread defect in a particular production run. Unlike consumable products, your ELAF locker will not lose its security function or structural integrity simply because it was manufactured several years ago, provided it has been stored in normal conditions and not exposed to extreme moisture or heat.
You should note the batch code for your records when you first receive the unit, and keep it alongside your purchase receipt in case you ever need to contact the seller about performance issues or warranty concerns that might relate to a specific manufacturing batch.
How should you use this locker correctly, and what setup steps are essential before trusting it with your valuables?
Begin by reading the complete instruction manual that comes inside the box, because the digital interface on your FT-K3-720 requires you to program an access code through a specific sequence of keypad presses, and doing this incorrectly could lock you out of your own locker until you reset it using a backup method or contact technical support. Place the locker on a flat, level surface that can support its weight without wobbling, and ensure it is positioned where moisture from bathrooms or leaking pipes cannot reach it over time, as the digital mechanism functions best in dry conditions.
Test the locking mechanism multiple times after you have programmed your code, opening and closing it at least five times to confirm the bolt slides smoothly and the keypad responds consistently to your entry sequence. Never share your access code with household members until you have decided whether you want multiple codes or a single shared code, and always write down a backup access method or reset code in a separate secure location in case you forget your main code.
How often should you perform maintenance checks, and what can go wrong that needs attention?
Your digital locker should be checked monthly to ensure the locking mechanism still engages smoothly when you close the door and the keypad still responds immediately when you enter your code, because early detection of sluggish bolts or delayed responses can help you address problems before they become critical security issues. If you notice that the bolt takes longer than usual to retract, or if the keypad sometimes fails to register a correct code entry, stop using it for valuable items immediately and consult your manual for troubleshooting steps or contact the seller for technical guidance.
Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth monthly and avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials on the digital display, as moisture and scratches can damage the interface that controls your locker's access system and make it unreliable for protecting your most important belongings.
Who should not use this product, and what are its honest limitations?
This ELAF locker is designed for secure home or small office storage of documents, jewellery, cash, and similar valuables, but it is not a fireproof safe, not waterproof, and not engineered to withstand physical attack or attempts to pry it open with tools, so do not expect it to provide bank-grade security or protection against determined thieves with professional equipment. If you live in an area prone to flooding, in a very high-humidity climate, or if you need to protect items that require fire-resistant storage, you should consider whether this product actually meets your specific security and environmental needs before purchasing.
This locker is also not suitable for commercial security applications where you need to track multiple user access or generate activity logs, as it functions as a single-code device without audit trail features that businesses typically require for compliance and accountability purposes.
What should you expect regarding delivery timing and how does the price shown on this page relate to what you actually pay?
The price displayed on this product page represents the locker unit itself, and you will see any applicable delivery charges calculated separately during checkout based on your delivery address within Bangladesh and your chosen shipping method, so the final amount you pay will be the sum of both figures. Delivery charges vary by region, and ShampooBD will show you the exact total cost before you confirm your order, allowing you to decide whether to proceed or adjust your purchase.
Standard courier services typically deliver within the timeframes advertised at checkout, and your locker will arrive in the original factory packaging from our importer Furnitex, with all components and documentation included, so you should inspect it immediately upon receipt to confirm nothing has been damaged or missing during transport.
