ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-70Q) costs ৳78,936 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How can I verify that my ELAF FT-70Q locker is genuinely imported and not a refilled unit?
When your ELAF Digital Safety Locker arrives from our supplier Furnitex, the first thing you should examine is the factory sealing on the outer packaging, which should show no signs of having been opened or tampered with before reaching you. The original manufacturer's labels, printed directly onto the unit itself rather than applied as stickers, will display consistent ink quality and precise alignment that counterfeit operations struggle to replicate accurately. Inside the box, you'll find documentation and hardware that matches the official specifications, and the serial number etched into the metal chassis should correspond exactly with the paperwork provided, giving you confidence in the product's authenticity.
Refilled or relabelled units often have mismatched component dates, scratched serial numbers, or packaging that feels lighter than genuine stock because previous contents were removed without proper factory standards. The digital control panel should respond smoothly with no signs of previous use or calibration errors, and all original seals on battery compartments and installation covers must remain completely intact and unbroken. Should you notice inconsistencies between what's written on the unit and what appears in your receipt documentation, contact us immediately with photographs so we can investigate whether a mistake occurred during our quality checks before shipment.
What is the correct way to install and operate this safety locker once I receive it?
Your ELAF FT-70Q Digital Safety Locker requires placement on a stable, level surface that can bear its full weight without wobbling, as any instability will prevent the electronic locking mechanism from engaging properly and could damage internal components over time. Before mounting or installing the device permanently, you should test the digital keypad by entering your chosen access code several times to confirm smooth operation and immediate lock response, ensuring that the motorized bolt extends and retracts without hesitation or grinding sounds that might indicate mechanical problems.
The installation hardware included in your package should be used to secure the locker to an immovable surface, whether that's a wall, floor, or furniture frame, following the positioning guide in the user manual that came with your purchase. Once installed, create a backup access code separate from your primary one, and keep written records of all codes in a completely different location away from the locker itself, so that you maintain access even if memory fails or the device malfunctions unexpectedly.
How frequently should I test the locking mechanism and what maintenance does this locker need?
You should test your digital safety locker's locking and unlocking functions at least once every two weeks, which ensures that the electronic system remains responsive and alerts you immediately to any degradation in performance before the device fails completely when you genuinely need to access your valuables. Regular testing also helps you identify battery weakness early, since a dying battery will cause the mechanism to respond more slowly than usual, giving you time to replace the power source before complete failure occurs and you lose access to stored items.
Maintenance of the FT-70Q involves keeping the exterior surfaces clean and dry, wiping away dust with a soft cloth that won't scratch the metal finish or damage the digital panel display. You should never expose the locker to direct moisture, extreme heat, or temperature swings that damage electronic components, and if the keypad becomes sticky or unresponsive, you can gently clean the keys with a barely damp cloth followed immediately by careful drying, but you should never attempt internal repairs yourself if the locking mechanism stops functioning normally.
What should a first-time user expect when they first open and use their new ELAF locker?
When you first power on your new FT-70Q unit by installing fresh batteries into the compartment at the rear, the digital display will illuminate and prompt you to enter a master code that you create yourself, establishing your personal security credentials that nobody else should know or guess. The first few uses will feel slightly stiff as you become accustomed to the keypad pressure and timing required to register each digit, but this normal break-in period usually resolves itself after five or six complete open-and-close cycles as you develop muscle memory for the correct entry technique.
You might notice the locking bolt makes a distinct mechanical sound when engaging or disengaging, which is completely normal and indicates that the solenoid is functioning as designed to secure your valuables, but excessive noise or grinding suggests a potential problem requiring immediate attention before you store expensive items inside. Store only items appropriate for the internal capacity of your specific model, avoiding overloading the locker with goods that might jam the locking mechanism or prevent the door from closing properly and creating gaps that compromise security.
Are there any types of items or user situations where the ELAF FT-70Q is not suitable?
This digital safety locker is designed for dry indoor environments and should never be installed in bathrooms, kitchens, basements, or any location where moisture, condensation, or water splash might reach the electronic components and corrode the internal circuitry beyond repair. If you live in a very humid climate or near the ocean where salt air is present, you should consider whether this device can be properly protected in your specific setting, as the manufacturer's sealing is adequate for normal household conditions but not for extreme environmental challenges.
The ELAF FT-70Q is unsuitable for storing items that might leak, corrode, or release gases inside the enclosed space, such as certain chemicals, fresh batteries, or wet documents that haven't been properly dried, since the sealed interior cannot ventilate and trapped moisture will damage both your stored items and the locker's internal mechanisms simultaneously. Additionally, if you have a medical condition that requires you to access stored medications frequently throughout the day, a secure digital locker might create dangerous delays when speed is medically essential, so you should consult your healthcare provider about appropriate storage solutions for time-sensitive health items.
How does the delivery process work for this imported locker and does the page price include all costs?
