How can you spot a genuine imported BAR STOOL (FT-BS319) from a counterfeit or refurbished one?

When you receive this stool from Furnitex, the black finish should feel smooth and even across the entire seat and frame, showing no signs of wear, scuffing, or previous use that might indicate a refilled or relabelled pack. Genuine imported stools arrive with consistent manufacturing marks and joints that fit tightly without gaps, loose welds, or uneven welding lines that suggest the piece has been hastily reassembled or refinished in a local workshop rather than arriving directly from the factory in China. The packaging itself matters greatly: authentic Furnitex imports come in clean, undamaged cardboard with clear printing and factory seals, whereas counterfeit versions often show creases, reused boxes, or printing that appears faded or poorly aligned, suggesting the carton has been opened and resealed multiple times during transit or storage in unauthorized warehouses.

Before you accept delivery, inspect the stool's base and legs carefully, as these areas reveal whether it is genuinely new or has been refinished, since authentic imports show uniform black coating without drips, bubbling, or thin patches where older paint shows through, while refurbished pieces often display these imperfections no matter how carefully someone tries to hide them with fresh paint or polish, and you should run your hand along the welds and joints to feel for smoothness rather than rough edges that suggest amateur rework or incomplete factory finishing that a legitimate importer would never accept from their Chinese supplier.

What is the correct way to use and maintain your black bar stool over time?

Your BAR STOOL (FT-BS319) requires you to position it on completely level and even flooring so that all four legs rest firmly without rocking, and you should avoid placing it on uneven tiles, wooden floors with raised edges, or carpeted surfaces where uneven weight distribution causes stress on the welds and can eventually weaken the frame after months of daily use in a typical Bangladeshi household kitchen or dining counter area. When someone sits down, they should lower themselves gradually onto the seat rather than dropping their full weight suddenly, since the frame is engineered to support normal seating but repetitive impact from jumping or rough contact reduces the lifespan of the welds and can cause the black finish to crack or chip at the joints where stress concentrates most heavily.

Cleaning your stool involves wiping the entire frame and seat with a soft, dry cloth at least twice weekly to prevent dust from settling into crevices and accumulating where moisture can eventually cause rust beneath the black coating, and you should wipe away any spills immediately with a cloth wrung out in water rather than allowing liquid to sit on the surface where it penetrates the finish and causes discoloration or rust spots that become permanent and unsightly over time, while you must never use harsh scrubbing pads, abrasive powders, or acidic cleaners that strip away the protective coating and expose the metal underneath to the humid air of your kitchen or bathroom counter area.

How often should different household members use the bar stool without causing damage?

In a typical Bangladeshi home, a single BAR STOOL (FT-BS319) can safely support daily use by one or two adults rotating throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, evening tea, or homework sessions without structural risk, and the frame and welds remain stable through months and years of this pattern provided each person uses the stool correctly by sitting rather than standing with excessive bouncing or moving the stool by dragging it across rough floor surfaces rather than lifting it properly between uses. Families with three or more members who all want seating at the counter simultaneously should plan to purchase multiple stools rather than expecting one stool to rotate between people throughout the day, since constant daily use by changing individuals creates cumulative stress on the same welds, and rotating users means the frame never rests, which accelerates fatigue in the metal joints that eventually leads to wobbling or cracking in the black finish where the stress concentrates.

For households with children, supervise young users to ensure they sit properly and do not jump, swing, rock backward, or spin on the stool, as these behaviors place uneven stress on the legs and welds that cause premature loosening, and a stool used gently by one adult or a supervised child can remain perfectly stable and safe for five years or longer, whereas a stool subjected to rough play or multiple competing users without rest periods between uses may develop problems within two or three years of ordinary household wear.

What should a first-time buyer expect when this stool arrives at their home?

When your order arrives, the BAR STOOL (FT-BS319) comes fully assembled and ready to use immediately without any additional setup, tools, or installation steps required, meaning you simply remove it from the packaging, place it on your kitchen or counter area, and begin using it right away without waiting for someone to assemble parts or tighten bolts, which makes this a convenient choice for busy families who want seating solutions that arrive turnkey and functional. The black finish may appear slightly matte or have a subtle sheen depending on the factory coating applied in China, and this appearance is perfectly normal and consistent with how genuine imports arrive, since the coating serves to protect the metal frame rather than provide a mirror-like shine that would require ongoing polishing and maintenance in your humid household environment.

Upon first inspection, feel the seat and frame to confirm they are solid and stable, run your fingers along the welds to ensure smoothness, and check that all four legs rest evenly on your flooring without any wobbling or rocking, as these are signs of a properly manufactured stool that has traveled safely through courier delivery without damage and is ready for years of household use without concerns or regrets about your purchase decision.

Which storage and placement conditions keep your bar stool in the best condition long-term?

Position your BAR STOOL (FT-BS319) indoors in a normal, temperature-controlled household area away from windows with direct sunlight that gradually fades the black finish and weakens the protective coating over months and years of exposure, and you should never place the stool on a balcony, veranda, rooftop, or any exterior location where rain, humidity, and UV light combine to accelerate rust formation beneath the black paint and cause corrosion that eventually eats through the metal frame from underneath.

Keep your stool away from kitchen areas with excessive steam from cooking, as moisture penetrates even well-applied coatings and causes rust to develop in hidden spots where you cannot see it until the damage becomes severe, and you should also avoid placing the stool near air conditioning vents or fans that direct humid air continuously onto the frame, since sustained dampness creates ideal conditions for oxidation to begin wherever the coating has microscopic cracks or imperfections from normal handling or shipping impacts.
