How can I spot a real Avène Cicalfate Plus from a refilled fake?
Genuine Avène tubes from ukdirectbd carry a smooth, uniform label with crisp printing and no bubbles or wrinkles underneath the plastic wrap. The batch code on the base should match the manufacturing date on the outer box, and you can verify both by checking Avène's official website. Any tube with misaligned text, faded colours, or a loose cap before opening is a warning sign of repackaging or counterfeiting.
How often should I apply this cream, and what should I expect in the first week?
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin once or twice daily depending on your skin's needs, massaging gently until absorbed. During your first few days of use, your skin may feel slightly different as it adjusts to the barrier formula, and this is normal. Most people notice their skin feeling calmer and less tight within five to seven days of consistent morning and evening application.
What is the best way to store this tube at home?
Keep your Avène Cicalfate Plus in a cool, dry cupboard away from windows, radiators, and humid spaces like shower cabinets. Screw the cap on firmly after each use to prevent the cream from drying out or collecting dust. A single tube will stay fresh and effective for many months if stored this way and used twice daily by one person.
