How can you spot a genuine Alokozay box that has not been refilled or relabelled?
When your Alokozay Ceylon Tea arrives from our import desk, the outer carton should feel sturdy and show crisp printing on all sides, with no signs of previous opening, resealing tape, or faded ink that suggests the box has been stored in sunlight for months before reaching you. Inside the sealed outer box, you will find one hundred individual teabags arranged in their original factory wrapper, and the inner seal across the top of the box must remain intact and unbroken, showing no creases or signs of tampering that would indicate someone has already opened and repackaged this product. Counterfeit or refilled packs often display misaligned text, inconsistent font sizes between the English and any other language on the box, or spelling variations in the brand name itself, so take a moment to compare the lettering carefully against any images on our product page before you brew your first cup.
The genuine imported version arrives with a batch code and production date clearly printed on the outer carton in a standardized format, and this information should always match what appears on the individual teabag wrappers inside, because refilled boxes often miss this detail or show conflicting dates that do not align. Our own import desk brings these boxes directly into Bangladesh through established channels, which means you will never receive a product that has been sitting in a warehouse for years or passed through multiple third-party retailers who may have stored it carelessly, so the freshness and authenticity of your tea remains guaranteed from the moment we receive it until the moment we ship it to your address.
What is the correct way to brew this tea, and how many cups does one box actually provide?
Each individual teabag in your box is designed to steep in a single cup of freshly boiled water for two to four minutes, depending on whether you prefer your Ceylon tea mild and delicate or strong and robust, because longer steeping times draw out more of the leaf's natural flavour and body without any bitterness if you use water that has just boiled and begun to cool slightly. You should remove the teabag after your preferred steeping time and discard it into your compost or waste bin, and never squeeze or press the bag against the cup rim with a spoon, because this action breaks down the leaf fibres and releases unwanted tannins that make the flavour sharp and astringent rather than smooth and warming.
Your box contains one hundred teabags, which means a single person who drinks one cup in the morning and one in the evening will find this supply lasts roughly fifty days, while a household where three or four family members each enjoy two cups daily will likely finish the box within two to three weeks of regular use. If you are accustomed to tea bags from other brands or loose leaf varieties, you may find that Ceylon tea has a distinctive character compared to Indian or African teas, with a brighter and more floral quality that pairs well with a small amount of milk or honey, though many people in Bangladesh prefer to drink it without additions to appreciate the pure leaf flavour as it was intended by the grower.
What should a first-time user of pure Ceylon tea expect when opening this box for the first time?
When you first open your sealed Alokozay box, the aroma that rises from the teabags will be distinctly leafy and slightly sweet, quite different from the heavy fragrance of strongly spiced or blended teas you may have encountered before, and this clean, herbal scent is exactly what you should experience from one hundred per cent pure Ceylon leaf with no additives mixed into the bag. Your first cup will taste smooth and light compared to stronger black teas, with subtle notes of warmth and a natural sweetness that does not require added sugar for enjoyment, though of course you are free to add sweetener, milk, or lemon juice to match your personal preference and the way tea is traditionally prepared in your household.
Some people notice that Ceylon tea has a gentle and lingering finish in the mouth, quite different from the sharp aftertaste of some mass-produced tea blends, and this quality is one reason why tea enthusiasts around the world prefer pure Ceylon leaf to heavily processed or flavoured alternatives that mask the natural character of the plant. If you have never tried premium Ceylon tea before, your first box represents an excellent opportunity to discover whether you prefer this style, and there is no wrong way to enjoy it because your own taste is the only measure that matters when deciding whether to purchase another box in future.
Who should avoid drinking this product, and are there any concerns for specific groups?
Alokozay Ceylon Tea contains naturally occurring caffeine from the tea leaf itself, which means individuals who are sensitive to caffeine, who have been advised by a healthcare provider to limit their intake, or who prefer to avoid stimulants should consider whether this product suits their needs, because each teabag will deliver a moderate amount of caffeine similar to what you would find in any standard black tea from Sri Lanka or other origins. Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and very young children should speak with their doctor or health worker before consuming this tea regularly, because caffeine crosses into breast milk and can affect infant sleep patterns, and healthcare professionals in Bangladesh can provide personalized advice based on individual health circumstances and family history.
If you have been told to avoid caffeine for any medical reason, or if you take medications that interact with caffeine, you should check with your doctor before using this product, and there is no shame in choosing a caffeine-free alternative instead because your health and safety are more important than any single brand of tea. People with iron deficiency or anaemia should also be aware that tea can interfere slightly with iron absorption from food, so timing your tea consumption away from iron-rich meals may be worth considering if you fall into this category, and again a conversation with your healthcare provider can help you make the best choice for your individual situation.
How should you store this product once you bring it home to maintain its freshness?
Your unopened box of Alokozay Ceylon Tea will stay fresh longest when stored in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight and away from sources of heat such as the stove, oven, or radiator, because exposure to light and warmth causes the tea leaves to lose their delicate flavour compounds and develop a stale, dusty taste that diminishes the quality of every cup you brew. Once you open the box and begin using the teabags, you should keep the remaining bags sealed inside the original box with its lid closed tightly, or transfer them to an airtight container such as a glass jar or tin with a secure seal, because even brief exposure to air causes oxidation that gradually weakens the tea's character and appeal.
Never store your tea near the kitchen sink or in a humid bathroom, because moisture in the air will cause the teabags to absorb water and potentially develop mold or off-flavours that make them unpleasant to drink, and the pantry or a kitchen cupboard far from water sources is always the better choice for Ceylon tea storage. An opened box, when stored correctly in an airtight container away from light and moisture, will retain good quality for three to four months, though you will likely finish this supply well before that timeframe passes if you are a regular tea drinker in your household, so proper storage is less about extending shelf life and more about honouring the quality of the product you have purchased.
