How do I know this powder is genuine and not refilled?
Genuine Absolute New York HD Flawless Setting Powder arrives in a sealed compact with crisp, professional labeling that shows no wear or reprinting marks. The HDSP03 batch code should be clearly printed on the base, matching the shade name Golden Banana, and any smudging or hand-written text signals a counterfeit or refilled pack. Open it immediately upon delivery to check that the powder surface is smooth and undisturbed, free from air gaps or compression marks that suggest the container was opened before.
What is the right way to apply this powder, and how long does one compact last?
Use a soft brush or damp beauty sponge to pick up a small amount and tap it gently across your face after foundation, working in downward strokes for even coverage. You need only a light dusting each application, so one compact typically lasts several months with daily use, depending on how much coverage you prefer. Begin with minimal powder and add more if needed, as this shade is designed to warm medium to deeper skin tones without appearing heavy.
What should a new user expect when first using this setting powder?
Your makeup may feel slightly firmer or more locked in place compared to using no powder, and the Golden Banana shade will show you immediately whether the warm undertone suits your skin. The powder has no scent and should blend smoothly without visible texture or grittiness; if it feels patchy or chalky, you are using too much product at once. Store it in a cool, dry bathroom cabinet and keep the lid closed between uses to maintain the powder's texture and longevity.
