Hydraulic Chair (FT-H5003) costs ৳5,720 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳8,414.
How Can You Be Sure This Chair Is Genuine and Not a Refilled or Relabelled Copy?
When you receive your Hydraulic Chair (FT-H5003) from Furnitex, the first thing to check is the packaging itself, which should arrive in a plain cardboard box with printed labels showing the model number clearly and the importer's name displayed prominently on multiple sides. Open the box carefully and examine the chair's frame for any signs of previous assembly or wear—a genuine imported chair will have pristine welds, consistent paint finish across all metal parts, and no visible scratches or dents that suggest the chair has been used before. The hydraulic cylinder beneath the seat should have a manufacturer's marking stamped or printed onto its barrel, never faded or peeling, and when you gently rock the assembled chair, the movement should feel smooth and consistent with no grinding sounds that might indicate a refilled or low-quality cylinder.
Check that all bolts, screws, and fasteners come sealed in their original plastic bags rather than loose in the box, and verify that the instruction sheet or warranty card matches the batch code found on the underside of the base—Furnitex's imported stock maintains matching documentation across all components, whereas refurbished or relabelled chairs often show mismatched dates or missing batch codes altogether. Run your fingers along the seat and backrest seams to confirm stitching is even and tight, not hastily repaired, and press down firmly on the seat to ensure the foam compresses uniformly without any lumps or hardened patches that would indicate recycled or degraded material.
What Should You Expect During Your First Few Weeks of Using This Chair?
Your new hydraulic chair will feel different from cheaper alternatives during the first days of use, because the hydraulic mechanism holds your chosen height with steady pressure rather than gradually sinking as you sit, which means you may notice a slight firmness in the seat position that your body will adapt to within a week or two as you find your preferred adjustment height. The lever underneath the seat will respond immediately to your pressure, moving up and down smoothly, and you should experiment gently with small adjustments to discover exactly where your back, shoulders, and thighs feel most comfortable for your particular desk setup and body shape.
Most new users find that the optimal sitting height places your feet flat on the floor with knees bent at roughly ninety degrees, and the chair's design allows you to make this fine adjustment without tools or assistance whenever your desk setup changes or you switch between different tasks throughout your day. You may hear a faint creaking sound from the base or joints during the first week—this is normal as components settle into place and simply disappears with use, not indicating any defect or weakness in the chair's structure.
How Often Should You Adjust the Height, and What Maintenance Will Keep This Chair Working Well?
You can adjust your hydraulic chair's height as many times as you wish throughout each day without wearing out the mechanism, since the hydraulic cylinder is engineered for thousands of adjustments over its lifespan, meaning you should feel completely free to raise the height in the morning, lower it for afternoon work, or modify it whenever your comfort requires a change. Most office workers adjust once or twice daily, but there is no limit to how frequently you can use the lever, and the chair will respond identically to your first adjustment as it does to your hundredth.
Keep your chair in good working condition by occasionally wiping the seat and backrest with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust, and every few months spend a moment checking that all visible bolts on the base remain tight by gently trying to turn them with an appropriate wrench—if any bolt has loosened, tighten it by hand without forcing, as this prevents wobbling and extends the chair's stable life significantly. Store the chair indoors in a reasonably dry location when not in use for extended periods, and avoid placing it where direct sunlight would strike the seat continuously, as ultraviolet light gradually fades fabric color over many years of exposure.
Can Anyone Use This Chair Comfortably, or Are There Limitations on Who Should Avoid It?
This chair is designed for general office and home desk use by adults of typical proportions, and it will provide reliable support for people of varying heights and builds during regular work or study sessions lasting several hours at a time. However, if you require specialized seating due to particular health considerations, mobility concerns, or unusual comfort needs, you should consider consulting with someone knowledgeable about ergonomic furniture before making your purchase, as this is a straightforward general-purpose office chair rather than a medical or therapeutic device.
The chair's hydraulic mechanism and structural materials function optimally when used in normal indoor environments with typical room temperature and humidity levels, so if your workspace is exposed to extreme heat, moisture, corrosive chemicals, or industrial conditions, this standard imported chair may not be the most suitable choice for your specific situation.

Are There Any Batch Codes or Expiry Dates You Should Look For On This Chair?
The Hydraulic Chair (FT-H5003) is a furniture product with no expiration date, meaning it does not spoil or degrade in the way consumable products do, but you will find a batch or manufacturing code stamped on the underside of the base that documents when Furnitex brought this particular unit into Bangladesh. This batch code serves as a reference for warranty purposes and for verifying that your chair is genuinely from this importer's stock rather than from unknown secondary sources, allowing you to establish when the chair entered the supply chain and confirming its authentic origin.
The presence of a clear, legible batch marking on the base indicates that your chair passed through Furnitex's official importation process and quality checking, whereas chairs lacking this marking or bearing faded, illegible codes may have come from unofficial channels or have been previously assembled and resold as new merchandise.
