How can I tell if this chair has been refilled or relabelled from a used stock?
When your Revolving Office Chair (FT-H2404) arrives from Furnitex, examine the packaging seals carefully before opening, as genuine imported furniture comes with intact factory wrapping that shows no signs of previous tampering or resealing with different tape. Look closely at the product label itself—authentic imported pieces from Furnitex bear crisp, evenly-printed text with correct spacing and colour consistency, whereas refilled or relabelled units often display smudged printing, misaligned text, or noticeably different font weights that suggest the label was printed separately and applied afterward rather than factory-applied during original manufacture.
Inspect the frame and structural components for inconsistent finishes or touch-ups, as genuine chairs maintain uniform black coating throughout the metal skeleton, seat base, and backrest without variations in paint thickness or sheen that would indicate repainting or repair work done outside the original factory process. The five casters and height adjustment lever should show factory-standard machining marks and consistent manufacturing details, not hastily replaced or mismatched components that suggest the chair passed through multiple hands before reaching you through this shop.
How should I use this office chair correctly for daily desk work?
Position yourself squarely in the centre of the seat with your back against the upright support, ensuring that your feet rest flat on the floor or footrest so that your thighs remain parallel to the ground and your arms can reach your desk at approximately elbow height when seated comfortably. Use the height adjustment lever located beneath the seat to raise or lower the chair until this alignment feels natural and reduces strain on your shoulders and wrists during extended typing or document review sessions throughout your working day.
Distribute your weight evenly across the seat cushion rather than perching on one side, as this practice extends the lifespan of the foam filling and prevents uneven wear that would create uncomfortable hollows after several months of regular use, and remember to adjust your seating position every hour or so by rolling the chair slightly or shifting your posture to promote blood circulation and reduce stiffness in your lower back and legs.
How often and for how long can I sit in this chair without discomfort?
The FT-H2404 provides adequate cushioning and back support for continuous desk work spanning four to six hours at a time, after which most users benefit from standing, walking, or stretching to refresh their posture and prevent fatigue that accumulates even in well-designed seating, since no chair is engineered for uninterrupted sitting without movement breaks regardless of its materials or construction quality. If you work an eight-hour day, take brief standing breaks every two hours to allow your muscles to recover and maintain long-term comfort without developing the stiffness or soreness that comes from staying in one position too long.
First-time users often notice that the seat feels firm during the first week or two of use, as the cushioning gradually settles and conforms to your body shape over time, which means your comfort level will actually improve after approximately two to three weeks of regular daily use as the materials break in naturally through normal wear.
What should a new user expect when first using this imported chair?
Upon your first sitting, you may notice that the height adjustment lever requires moderate downward pressure to activate the gas lift mechanism that raises or lowers the seat, and this is entirely normal behaviour for factory-fresh furniture that has not yet had its internal components loosened through regular use over several weeks or months. The revolving mechanism will feel stable and responsive as you rotate left and right, though the casters may initially roll with slight resistance if they have been compressed during shipping, and this resistance typically decreases as the wheels settle into their natural rolling position after a few days of normal movement around your desk area.
The black finish may show minor surface dust or light fingerprints immediately after unboxing, which you can easily wipe away with a dry or slightly damp cloth without requiring any special cleaning products or maintenance procedures beyond basic household care, and this first cleaning actually helps reveal the uniform finish quality that Furnitex maintains throughout the manufacturing and importing process.
Are there any users for whom this chair design might not be suitable?
This chair delivers straightforward revolving seating for standard desk work and is not specifically engineered for specialized purposes such as extended lounging, reclined relaxation, or gaming positions where users require tilting backs or footrest extensions that this model simply does not provide as standard features. Users who weigh significantly more than average or who have particular back conditions should consider consulting comfort requirements before purchasing, since the upright design and standard cushioning suit typical office users rather than those seeking medical-grade ergonomic solutions with specialized lumbar support systems.
The five-point caster base works best on smooth, flat flooring surfaces such as polished concrete or tile, whereas extremely thick carpeting or uneven ground may reduce rolling ease and affect the chair's mobility around your workspace, so consider your floor type when evaluating whether this model matches your intended environment.
