Executive Office Chair (FT-HJ053A) Black and (Red Mesh) costs ৳8,414 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How do I know this imported chair is genuine stock and not a refurbished copy?
When you receive your Executive Office Chair (FT-HJ053A) from ShampooBD, the first thing you should inspect is the packaging seal and the condition of the red mesh itself, which should show no discoloration, staining, or uneven wear patterns that suggest prior use. Genuine imported stock from Furnitex arrives with intact plastic wrapping around the seat cushion and backrest, clean wheels that spin without resistance, and a frame finish that feels uniform across all surfaces without rough patches or repainting marks that might indicate relabelling or restoration work. The mesh panels should feel taut and evenly stretched, not loose or sagging, and any stickers or batch information should be factory-applied and crisp, never hand-written or applied with adhesive that appears old or yellowed.
To verify authenticity, cross-check the model number FT-HJ053A printed on both the chair frame and any documentation you receive, ensuring the fonts and spacing match exactly, as counterfeit versions often show slight variations in lettering or placement that reveal sloppy reproduction. Run your fingers along all welds and joints—genuine imported furniture shows consistent, smooth welds without sharp edges or visible gaps, whereas refilled chairs often have poorly finished connection points where parts have been reassembled. The height adjustment mechanism should move smoothly through its full range without stuttering or catching, a sign that the internal cylinder is factory-original and not salvaged from older stock.
What is the correct way to set up and use this office chair for daily work?
Your Executive Office Chair arrives fully assembled except for wheel installation, which takes less than five minutes by pushing each wheel firmly into the base until it locks with a click; no tools are needed for this step, and you should hear or feel a definite catch when each wheel seats properly. Once the wheels are attached, position the chair at your desk so that your elbows rest at a ninety-degree angle when your arms hang naturally at your sides, and your feet should rest flat on the floor with your knees also at approximately ninety degrees, which usually means adjusting the pneumatic height lever located beneath the seat cushion to raise or lower the entire chair to match your desk height.
The red mesh backrest should support the natural curve of your spine, so you may need to recline slightly using the tilt mechanism—typically a lever on the side of the seat—until you find the angle that lets your shoulders rest against the mesh without strain or forward slouching. Throughout your workday, you can shift position by using the seat's swivel feature and by periodically standing to stretch, as even the best office chair benefits from movement breaks every hour or so to maintain circulation and reduce fatigue during extended sitting sessions.
How often should I clean and maintain this chair to keep it looking new?
The red mesh backing requires only light, routine maintenance because the color naturally camouflages minor dust and light marks that would be obvious on lighter fabrics, so a weekly pass with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly dampened microfiber cloth will keep the mesh fresh without risk of water damage or discoloration. You should never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or scrubbing brushes on the mesh, as these can weaken the material or cause the red dye to fade unevenly, creating blotchy patches that are difficult to repair and diminish the chair's professional appearance.
The black frame and seat cushion can be wiped down in the same way, using a dry or barely damp cloth to remove dust and occasional spills, and the wheels should be inspected every few months to ensure they roll smoothly and to remove any wrapped hair or debris that may collect around the wheel axles. If you notice any squeaking sounds coming from the tilt mechanism or base, a small amount of silicone spray lubricant applied to the moving joints will resolve the noise and keep the chair functioning smoothly for years without requiring professional servicing.
Who is this chair designed for, and who might find it uncomfortable?
This Executive Office Chair suits professionals who spend six to eight hours daily at a desk performing focused work that requires steady posture and minimal movement, making it ideal for writers, accountants, graphic designers, and other desk-based roles where sustained back support directly impacts work quality and physical comfort throughout the day. If you weigh between fifty and one hundred twenty kilograms and have an average to moderately tall frame, the standard dimensions and cushioning density of this model will feel proportionate and supportive without excessive softness or firmness that might cause discomfort after prolonged sitting.
However, if you are very tall and require a chair with an extra-high backrest extending above shoulder level, or if you are significantly heavier and need reinforced casters and a thicker cushion, this standard executive model may not provide adequate support and you should consider a heavy-duty variant instead. Similarly, if you have existing lower back conditions or require medical-grade ergonomic features like lumbar adjustment knobs or seat depth modification, consult a healthcare provider before purchasing, as this chair offers fixed ergonomic geometry and cannot be customized to address specific spinal needs.
What can I expect in my first week of using this new chair?
During your initial days with the Executive Office Chair, you may notice that the red mesh feels slightly firm and the seat cushion has not yet conformed fully to your body shape, which is completely normal for new office furniture and will gradually soften and mould as you sit in the chair day after day, typically reaching its most comfortable state after seven to fourteen days of regular use. You might also hear occasional creaking sounds from the base or tilt mechanism as internal components settle into their permanent positions, and these noises should diminish within the first week as everything stabilizes; if creaking persists beyond two weeks, a small application of lubricant will usually resolve it permanently.
Your posture may feel slightly different compared to whatever chair you used previously, so spend a few days experimenting with the height adjustment and tilt angle to discover the position that feels most natural and supportive for your frame, and do not hesitate to make minor adjustments daily until you find your ideal configuration. By the end of your first week, your body will have adapted to the new support pattern, and you should notice improved comfort during long work sessions, fewer mid-afternoon aches, and reduced fidgeting compared to sitting in an unsupportive or poorly adjusted chair.
How does ShampooBD's pricing and nationwide delivery work for this chair?
The price displayed on this product page is the chair's cost at ShampooBD, and this figure represents the total amount you pay for the item itself before any applicable delivery charges, which are calculated separately based on your delivery location within Bangladesh and are shown to you before you finalize your order. ShampooBD processes orders nationwide with cash-on-delivery service available in most areas, meaning you can inspect your chair upon arrival and pay the delivery agent only once you confirm the package has arrived undamaged and matches your order, eliminating the risk of paying upfront for furniture that might be mishandled in transit.
Delivery timeframes vary by region, with urban areas typically receiving orders faster than remote districts, and you will be provided with an estimated delivery window when you place your order so you can plan accordingly and ensure someone is available to receive and inspect the chair at your location. If your chair arrives with any visible damage to the frame, mesh, or cushion, refuse delivery or contact customer support immediately with photographs, and ShampooBD will arrange a replacement or refund without requiring you to pay for the damaged item.
