Heinz Creamy ‘n’ Lumpy Banana & Berries Porridge with Iron & Calcium

How do I know this pack is genuinely imported and not refilled locally?

Authentic Heinz porridge packs arrive sealed from the UK with consistent printing, clear expiry dates, and intact foil layers—refilled packs often show loose seals, blurry text, or mismatched fonts. Check the batch code on the back matches the factory print quality; counterfeit versions frequently have hand-written or poorly aligned numbers. If the seal feels weak or the pouch shows creases from prior opening, it has likely been repackaged and should be avoided.

What is the right way to prepare this porridge and how much should my baby eat?

Mix only the portion you need for one feed with warm water or milk according to pack instructions, preparing fresh each time to ensure safety. Your baby should consume what they finish in one sitting; do not store mixed porridge for later feeds. Start with small amounts if your baby is new to lumpy textures, and always follow your doctor or health worker's guidance on portion size and readiness.

How should I store this after opening and how long will it last?

Once opened, fold the pack tightly closed or transfer unused porridge into an airtight container and keep it away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight in a cool cupboard. Follow the storage period shown on the packet—usually a few days if sealed properly after each use. Discard any remaining porridge if it shows signs of mold, dampness, or odor before the stated shelf life ends.
