Heinz Apple & Strawberry Baby Food Fruit Puree Pouch 100g costs ৳390 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳650.
How can you spot a genuine Heinz pouch versus a refilled or relabelled counterfeit?
When your Heinz Apple & Strawberry pouch arrives, the foil exterior should feel crisp and clean with printing that runs sharp and clear across the entire surface, showing no smudging, fading, or irregularities in the text and imagery that legitimate factory production would never produce. The genuine pouch bears a factory seal along the top edge that runs in a straight, even line with no gaps, wrinkles, or signs of having been opened and resealed, because counterfeiters often struggle to replicate the precision machinery used in actual Heinz manufacturing facilities.
Examine the batch code and best-before date printed on the back panel closely, as these numbers should be stamped with mechanical clarity into the foil itself rather than appearing as faded or uneven ink that suggests amateur relabelling after the fact. The weight marking of 100g should appear alongside official Heinz branding and the country of origin statement, and any pouch lacking these regulatory details or showing them in poor quality printing warrants immediate rejection, since legitimate imported stock always carries complete compliance information that customs and food safety authorities require.
What does the batch code tell you, and why does the expiry date matter for your purchase?
Each Heinz pouch carries a batch identification number and a best-before date that together prove the product passed through legitimate supply chains with proper temperature control and storage conditions throughout its journey from factory to your home, whereas counterfeit batches often display dates that appear inconsistent across multiple pouches or show formatting that differs from official Heinz standards. You should note down the batch code before opening the pouch and store this information separately, giving you evidence should you ever need to report a suspect product to food safety authorities or the retailer who supplied it to you.
The best-before date represents the final day on which the manufacturer guarantees the puree maintains its intended flavour, texture, and nutritional profile under proper storage conditions, so purchasing a pouch with several months remaining before that date ensures you receive a fresh product rather than stock that approaches its limit. Always compare the date to today's calendar before accepting delivery, and refuse any pouch where the best-before date falls within two weeks, as this suggests the pouch sat in warehouse inventory without proper rotation and may have experienced temperature fluctuations that compromise quality.
What is the correct way to use this puree, and how often can you serve it to your baby?
The Heinz Apple & Strawberry puree arrives ready to eat without any mixing, cooking, or preparation required beyond opening the pouch carefully and transferring the contents to a clean baby spoon or dish, making it ideal for parents navigating busy feeding schedules who need nutrition that demands no additional steps. Serve the puree at room temperature or slightly warmed according to your baby's preference, though some parents find that a quick warm water bath of the closed pouch raises the temperature gently without creating hot spots that could burn a child's mouth or throat.
Frequency of serving depends on how your baby responds to this particular flavour combination and whether your health worker or doctor has advised introducing it as part of a broader weaning plan that balances variety with digestive adjustment. Many families offer fruit purees like this several times weekly as part of a mixed diet that includes vegetables, grains, and other age-appropriate foods, though individual babies progress through weaning at different speeds and you should follow personalised guidance from your healthcare provider rather than assuming all babies accept the same feeding schedule.
What should a first-time user expect when introducing this product to their baby?
Your baby may display curiosity mixed with hesitation when encountering apple and strawberry puree for the first time, as unfamiliar tastes and textures often prompt infants to make expressive faces or push food away before they eventually accept the flavour after repeated exposure across several days or even weeks. It is entirely normal for babies to reject new foods initially, and persistence over multiple offerings usually leads to acceptance, though you should never force feeding and instead allow your child to set the pace of introduction while observing how their digestion responds to this particular fruit combination.
Some babies experience looser stools or mild digestive changes when fruit purees enter their diet, and this represents a normal adjustment phase rather than an allergic reaction, though you should contact your doctor or health worker immediately if your baby develops rashes, swelling, vomiting, or severe diarrhoea following consumption. Always introduce new foods one at a time and wait several days before adding another item to your baby's diet, enabling you to identify which foods your child tolerates well and which might warrant caution in future meals.
Who should avoid this product, or proceed with special care before offering it?
Babies younger than six months have digestive systems still developing their capacity to process solid foods, and your doctor or health worker should guide decisions about when your individual child is ready to begin weaning, as this varies from baby to baby based on developmental readiness and family circumstances. If your baby has experienced allergic reactions to apples, strawberries, or other fruits in the past, you should not introduce this puree without first consulting your healthcare provider, as fruit allergies do occur and professional guidance helps you manage introduction safely.
Families with a history of severe allergies affecting close relatives may benefit from discussing this product with their doctor before the first serving, ensuring that any introduction happens under conditions where you can monitor your child carefully and seek help quickly should an unexpected reaction develop. If your baby is currently unwell, running a fever, or experiencing digestive upset, it is wise to delay introducing new foods until recovery is complete, as illness can make babies more sensitive to dietary changes and complicate your ability to identify whether a reaction stems from the new food or the existing health concern.
How does the delivery process work, and what price should you expect to pay?
Your order ships to addresses throughout Bangladesh via reliable courier services that accept cash payment upon delivery, meaning you inspect the pouch at your door before handing over payment, giving you the chance to refuse damaged stock or verify that the product matches your order before any money changes hands. The price shown on this page reflects the current cost of this single 100g pouch, and the delivery charge appears separately at checkout so you can see the complete total before confirming your purchase and proceeding to payment.
Delivery timeframes depend on your location within Bangladesh and current courier schedules, with most shipments reaching customers within the standard nationwide service window that applies to orders placed through this retailer. If your pouch arrives damaged or the seal shows signs of compromise, contact the shop immediately with photographic evidence, as legitimate retailers stand behind their stock and will arrange replacement or refund rather than asking you to accept compromised products that might affect your baby's safety.
