Gerber Powerblend Probiotic Oatmeal Lentil Peach & Apple Cereal (227g)

How can you spot a genuine pack versus a refilled one?

Authentic Gerber packs arrive with unbroken factory seals and sharp, clear printing on the label with no smudging or fading. The ingredient list and nutrition table on the back should match Gerber's official format, and batch codes are printed directly into the cardboard during manufacture, not stuck on afterwards. If you open the pack and find the powder has an off smell, visible clumping, or the seal shows signs of tampering, it is not genuine and you should not use it.

What is the right way to feed this cereal to your baby?

Mix a small amount of powder with warm water or breast milk until you reach a smooth consistency, then feed your baby with a clean spoon once or twice daily depending on their age and hunger. Start with just one or two teaspoons to see how your baby responds, then increase the amount gradually over several days. Always follow your doctor or health worker's advice before introducing any new food to your baby for the first time.

How long does this pack last and how should you store it?

One 227-gram pack typically covers around four weeks of regular daily meals for most babies eating solid food, though this varies based on portion size and feeding frequency. Once opened, seal the pack tightly after each use and keep it in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture; most families find it stays fresh for several weeks when stored correctly. Check that the powder looks dry and smells normal before you mix each portion.
