Heinz Smooth ‘n’ Creamy Banana Porridge with Iron & Calcium

How can I tell if this pack is genuine and not refilled?

A genuine Heinz Banana Porridge pack from ukdirectbd arrives with an intact factory seal that shows no signs of previous opening. The printed expiry date and batch code should be sharp and clearly stamped, never blurry or hand-written over existing text. If the seal appears loose, the printing looks smudged, or the pack feels unusually light for its stated size, it may have been refilled or relabelled locally.

What is the right way to prepare and use this porridge for my baby?

Mix the recommended portion with warm water or expressed breast milk according to the instructions printed on the pack, stirring until smooth. Prepare only what your baby will eat in one sitting to avoid waste and ensure safety. Most babies starting semi-solid foods need just a few spoonfuls at first, so one pack typically lasts several meals across multiple days.

What should I expect when my baby first tries this product?

Your baby may need a few days to adjust to the taste and texture as they move from milk to thicker foods. Some babies eat it eagerly from the first spoon, while others take time to accept it alongside their regular milk feeds. Always follow your doctor's or health worker's guidance on when to introduce new foods and how much your baby should have.
