How do I spot a genuine imported Heinz jar versus a refilled copy?

A real Heinz Egg Custard jar imported to Bangladesh bears clear printing on the label that does not smudge or peel away under gentle rubbing. The glass itself feels thick and even, with no rough edges around the rim or base where it was sealed at the factory. Check that the batch code and best-before date are stamped directly into the glass or printed with permanent ink, never handwritten or applied as a loose sticker after packing.

What is the right way to serve this to my baby, and how often?

Open the jar only when you are ready to feed, then spoon the custard into a clean dish and serve at room temperature or slightly warmed. Babies new to egg custard should receive just one small spoonful at first to see how they respond, then you can gradually offer more over several days if all goes well. Once opened, keep any leftover custard in the refrigerator in a sealed container and use it within 24 hours; throw away anything older than that.

What should I expect the first time my baby tastes this product?

Your baby may take a few tastes before accepting the creamy texture, since it feels different from milk or plain porridge. Some babies show interest immediately while others need several tries across different days before they settle into it. Watch for any sign of discomfort or reaction, and speak with your doctor or health worker if you have any concerns about how your baby responds.
