Nestlé LACTOGEN 1 Infant Formula 400 gm costs ৳735 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳890.
How do I know this tin is genuinely imported and not refilled locally?
Authentic Nestlé LACTOGEN 1 arrives in an original sealed metal tin with crisp printing, a hologram or security feature on the label, and batch codes stamped during factory production. Refilled or relabelled packs often show uneven label placement, faded ink, or rough edges where a used tin was reopened. Check the tin's seams carefully—genuine tins have smooth, factory-sealed edges with no sign of tampering or rust.
What is the right way to prepare feeds and how often should my baby drink them?
Always boil clean water, allow it to cool to lukewarm, then mix powder using only the scoop provided, following the ratio printed on your tin's instructions. Your newborn's feeding frequency and portion size depend on age and weight; consult your doctor or health worker for your baby's specific needs. Never use hot water directly on the powder, and prepare each feed fresh or store mixed formula in a sterilized bottle in the refrigerator for no longer than two hours.
What should I expect when I first use this formula with my newborn?
Your baby may take one to three days to adjust to any new formula, and stools might change colour or consistency slightly during this settling period. Most infants feed contentedly once accustomed; if your baby shows signs of distress, difficulty feeding, or unusual reactions, stop and seek advice from your health worker immediately. Keep the unopened tin in a cool cupboard and reseal tightly after each use to maintain freshness for up to three weeks.
