What You're Buying: A 4-Person Workstation Office Table
The FT-004 is a sturdy office table designed to seat and accommodate four people working side by side. It comes with an integrated front table component, which provides additional workspace or storage at the front of the main surface. This layout is commonly used in small office settings, startup spaces, or open-plan work environments where you need multiple workstations arranged compactly. The table is finished in black, which suits most modern and professional interiors.
This product is imported from China and brought into Bangladesh by Furnitex, a furniture supplier. When you purchase from ShampooBD, you are receiving the genuine imported item exactly as manufactured and shipped by the supplier. We handle the clearance and logistics so that you receive the table ready to assemble or use.
How to Verify You're Getting the Genuine Imported Product
Because office furniture is sometimes counterfeited or substituted with locally-made versions that claim to be imported, here's how to check authenticity when your table arrives. First, examine the packaging carefully—genuine imported furniture from Furnitex arrives in marked cartons with supplier labeling. Look for any Furnitex branding, manufacturing codes, or country-of-origin stamps on the packaging itself.
- Check the material quality: genuine imported tables typically have consistent finish, straight edges, and uniform color throughout. Local imitations often show uneven paint or varnish.
- Inspect metal joints and fasteners: imported products use standardized bolts and brackets. Mismatched or crude fasteners are a red flag.
- Verify the table's weight and feel: the FT-004 is designed with specific thickness and density. A noticeably lighter or flimsy table may be counterfeit.
- Cross-reference the product code FT-004 with any documentation that arrives with it. Furnitex uses consistent coding on genuine items.
- If you have concerns after delivery, contact the seller immediately with photos. Genuine suppliers stand behind their products.
Proper Assembly and Setup for Your 4-Person Workstation
When your FT-004 arrives, take time to read any assembly instructions included in the box. Most office tables of this type come partially assembled, with legs and the front table component requiring attachment. Lay out all parts on a clean, flat surface before you begin. Check that you have all fasteners—usually bolts, washers, and nuts—and that nothing is missing or damaged in transit.
Set the table on a level floor to ensure stability. An uneven surface will cause wobbling and uneven weight distribution, which can stress the joints over time. If your office floor is uneven, use adjustable feet or shims to level the table properly. For the front table component specifically, ensure it is securely fastened to the main table structure; this prevents shifting during daily use. Once assembled, test the stability by applying gentle downward pressure at each corner and along the front table edge.
Maintenance and Long-Term Care
The black finish on your FT-004 will stay looking best with regular, light cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface weekly, removing dust and light dirt. For fingerprints or minor marks, a barely damp cloth works well—avoid soaking the wood or metal components, as excess moisture can damage the finish and cause swelling or rust.
Over time, heavy use in a busy office may cause minor wear on the surface. This is normal and does not affect the table's function. If you notice loose bolts or fasteners after weeks of use, gently tighten them with an appropriate wrench. Do not place excessively hot items directly on the surface, and avoid dragging sharp objects across the finish. A mat or desk pad under high-traffic areas can extend the life of the black finish.
Suitability and Space Considerations
Before ordering, measure your office space carefully. A 4-person workstation table is substantial and requires sufficient floor area. The front table component adds depth, so account for that in your layout planning. Consider also how the table will be positioned relative to windows, electrical outlets, and foot traffic—these factors affect comfort and productivity for all four users.
This table works well in startup offices, small design studios, customer service centers, or any space where you need multiple employees or team members to work in close proximity while maintaining individual workspace. If you need to adjust the height or add monitor arms, do so before fully committing the table to a permanent location. Once installed and in heavy daily use, repositioning becomes more difficult.
