What Is the Dual Quarter Moon Shape Center Table?
The Dual Quarter Moon Shape Center Table (FT-CT01) is a modern office table designed and manufactured in China, brought to Bangladesh by Furnitex. This distinctive piece features a unique dual quarter moon shape that sets it apart from conventional rectangular desks. The curved, complementary design allows it to fit elegantly into corner spaces or be positioned centrally in an office layout, making it a thoughtful choice for professionals who want both function and visual interest in their workspace.
Unlike standard flat-topped tables, the quarter moon segments create natural zones for different work activities. You might use one curved section for your computer setup and the other for paperwork, client meetings, or display items. The imported construction means attention to detail in the joinery and finish, though like all furniture from abroad, it requires careful inspection when it arrives to ensure no damage occurred during shipping.
How to Identify a Genuine Furnitex Import
When your Dual Quarter Moon Center Table arrives, the first thing you should do is check for the Furnitex branding and documentation. Genuine imports from Furnitex will include a clear packing slip, invoice, or certificate indicating that it was brought in through proper channels. Look for any official labels or stamps on the underside of the table or on packaging materials. The wood finish and construction quality should be consistent across all curved surfaces—genuine imported pieces from this supplier maintain uniform standards in stain color, varnish application, and joint tightness.
Counterfeit or locally-made imitations may show uneven staining, rough edges that haven't been properly sanded, or joints that appear loose or hastily assembled. The quarter moon curves should be smooth to the touch with no splintering. If you notice the varnish is tacky, sticky, or has an unusual smell after unpacking, this may indicate low-quality finish work. Always compare the table's weight and feel to photographs of verified Furnitex products, and do not hesitate to contact your seller if anything seems inconsistent with what you expected from an imported office table.
Assembly and Placement in Your Office
Upon delivery, unpack the table carefully in the room where it will be used. The curved shape requires thoughtful positioning—measure your space beforehand to ensure both quarter moon sections fit without obstruction. If the table arrives in sections (which is common for curved furniture), follow the assembly instructions provided by Furnitex carefully. Use only the hardware and tools specified; substituting fasteners or using incorrect installation methods can compromise the structural integrity of the curves.
Before final assembly, inspect all surfaces for any damage sustained in transit. Minor surface scratches can often be touched up using furniture repair markers available in Bangladesh, but deeper gouges may require professional refinishing. Once assembled, place the table on a level floor—use a spirit level to check. An uneven surface can cause stress on the curved joints over time. Allow 24 hours for any adhesives or finishes to fully cure before placing heavy items on the table.
Care and Maintenance for Long-Term Use
The Dual Quarter Moon Center Table's curved design means dust and debris can collect in the junction between the two segments. Clean these areas regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For general dusting, use a microfiber cloth that won't scratch the varnish. Avoid placing hot beverages or wet objects directly on the surface; always use coasters and trivets. The imported finish is designed to protect the wood, but it can be damaged by spills, so wipe up any liquid immediately with a dry cloth.
Keep the table away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can fade the wood stain unevenly. Also avoid positioning it near air conditioning units or heating vents, as sudden temperature and humidity changes can cause the wood to expand or contract, potentially affecting the curve joints. Every few months, you may gently polish the surface with furniture oil designed for varnished wood—this keeps the finish supple and maintains its appearance. If the table begins to wobble, check all fastening bolts and tighten if necessary before the problem worsens.
Why Choose an Imported Center Table for Your Office
Investing in an imported office table like the Furnitex FT-CT01 means you're choosing a piece designed with international standards in mind. Chinese furniture manufacturing, when sourced through reliable importers like Furnitex, combines cost efficiency with attention to ergonomics and contemporary design. The dual quarter moon shape is not a random choice—it reflects modern office design thinking about how professionals actually work, allowing multiple tasks and viewing angles from a single seated position.
An imported table also tends to hold its appearance longer than locally-produced alternatives, thanks to quality finishing processes and materials. The curved design makes it a conversation piece in your office, signaling that you've invested in a thoughtful workspace.
