How can you tell if your ELAF Digital Safety Locker has been genuinely imported, or if it is a refilled and relabelled pack?
When your ELAF Digital Safety Locker (FT-20EUD) arrives from Furnitex, the first thing you should examine is the outer packaging with careful attention to detail and printing quality. Genuine imported units from China feature crisp, clean printing with no blurring, smudging, or uneven ink application anywhere on the box, and the barcode should scan without difficulty when you use your phone's camera app. The hologram or security sticker, if present, should feel raised and catch light distinctly rather than appearing flat or dull to your touch and eye.
You should verify the batch code printed on the packaging by cross-referencing it with Furnitex's records if you have any doubt, and you can contact the shop's customer service team with a clear photograph showing the code and the full box for authentication. Refilled or relabelled packs often show signs of adhesive residue around the edges, faded printing underneath where a new label was placed, or slight misalignment of graphics that suggests the original design was covered. The unit's serial number on the bottom or back should match exactly what is printed on the packaging, and any discrepancy should prompt you to request a replacement immediately from the seller.
What is the correct way to use your ELAF Digital Safety Locker and how often should you interact with it?
Your ELAF Digital Safety Locker (FT-20EUD) is designed to store valuables, documents, or items requiring secure containment, and you should read the instruction manual fully before your first use to understand the keypad operation, backup entry methods, and battery placement requirements. The unit requires periodic maintenance such as checking the battery level, testing the lock mechanism monthly to ensure responsiveness, and keeping the keypad clean and dry so that repeated key presses register without hesitation or delay.
You should use your locker as frequently as needed for your daily security needs, and there is no limit to how many times per day you can open and close it or enter your access code. First-time users often find that it takes two or three attempts before they become comfortable with the keypad response time and the force required to pull the door open after unlocking, so patience and repeated practice will soon make the process automatic and effortless for you.
What should a first-time user expect when they open the ELAF Digital Safety Locker for the first time?
When you unpack your new ELAF Digital Safety Locker, you will find the main unit, an instruction booklet in English or Chinese depending on your shipment, backup keys if applicable, batteries, and possibly mounting hardware or fastening materials. You should expect to spend between fifteen and thirty minutes reading the manual and setting your personal access code before you attempt to store anything inside, because rushing this step may leave you unable to open the locker later if you do not record your code correctly.
The interior space will feel compact and well-organized with defined compartments or a single secure chamber depending on the model specifications, and the door will require a firm but not forceful pull to open after the electronic lock disengages. Many first-time users are pleasantly surprised by how quietly the locking mechanism operates and how solid the construction feels, which gives them immediate confidence in the security of items they choose to store inside.
Are there any types of users or situations where the ELAF Digital Safety Locker is not suitable or recommended?
The ELAF Digital Safety Locker is not suitable for storing extremely heavy items that exceed the weight capacity stated in the instruction manual, as overloading may damage the hinges or the locking mechanism over time. You should not attempt to force the door open if it does not respond to your correct access code, because doing so may trigger the lock into a protective mode that requires professional service to reset.
Users who have difficulty remembering numerical codes should write their access code in a secure place separate from the locker itself, or use the backup key method if the model includes this feature, so that you retain alternative ways to access your stored items. The locker is not waterproof and should not be placed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or other areas with high moisture or direct water exposure, because electronic components inside may corrode or malfunction if exposed to humidity or liquid.
How do you find the correct delivery charge for this product and understand the price shown on this page?
The price of the ELAF Digital Safety Locker (FT-20EUD) that you see displayed on this product page is the base cost of the item itself, and the delivery charge is calculated separately based on your delivery address location within Bangladesh and your chosen shipping method. You will see the delivery cost added to your total during the checkout process, and this charge depends on whether you select standard courier service or an express delivery option if available in your area.
You should review the final total price before you confirm your order, because this includes both the locker price and the delivery fee combined, and you can proceed with confidence that no additional hidden charges will appear after your purchase is complete. If you have questions about why the delivery cost is higher or lower than expected, you can contact the shop's customer service team and they will explain the calculation based on your location and the weight of the packaged unit.
What does the batch code on the ELAF Digital Safety Locker packaging tell you and why does it matter?
The batch code printed on your ELAF Digital Safety Locker packaging indicates when and where the unit was manufactured in China, and it serves as your proof of authenticity when cross-referenced with Furnitex's import records and distribution database. Each batch code is unique to a production run, so if you ever need to claim warranty service or report a defect, the batch code allows the manufacturer and the seller to verify that your unit is genuine and not a counterfeit or refurbished item from an unauthorized source.
You should photograph or write down your batch code when your locker arrives, and keep this information in a safe place alongside your receipt and warranty card if one is included. If you ever encounter difficulty with your locker and need to contact customer support, providing the batch code will speed up the troubleshooting process significantly and may help the team identify whether your specific production batch had any known issues that were later corrected.
