How can I tell if my Digital Safety Locker is a genuine imported pack from Furnitex?
When you receive your Digital Safety Locker FT-K8-700 from our shop, you should inspect the outer packaging carefully to confirm it bears the original Furnitex branding and manufacturing details exactly as they appear on our website listing. Genuine imported units from China arrive with intact seals, clear printing on all labels, and a hologram or security sticker if one is shown in our product photographs; any pack that has been opened, resealed with tape, or shows blurry printing should be reported to us immediately upon delivery so we can investigate whether refilling or relabelling has occurred. The batch code and serial number on the genuine pack will match the documentation provided with your order, and Furnitex always prints these in a specific font and position that counterfeiters struggle to replicate accurately.
Be especially cautious if the packaging feels lighter than expected, if the locking mechanism appears loose or poorly assembled, or if the instruction manual inside is printed on poor-quality paper with spelling errors, because these are common signs that someone has tampered with the product before it reached you. We source directly from Furnitex in China and every unit is checked before dispatch, so if anything seems wrong when your parcel arrives, do not assume it is normal wear—contact our customer service team with photographs and we will arrange a replacement immediately without argument.
What should I expect when I use my Digital Safety Locker for the first time?
Your new Digital Safety Locker FT-K8-700 is designed to store valuables, documents, or items you wish to keep secure, and on your first use you will need to set up your personal access code following the instructions in the manual that came inside the box. You should read through the entire instruction booklet before attempting to use the lock, because setting the code incorrectly can cause difficulty when you try to open it later, and you want to understand the backup access method in case you forget your chosen code. The locking mechanism may feel slightly stiff when you first operate it, which is completely normal and will become smoother after a few uses as the internal components settle into position.
On your first day of ownership, we recommend testing the lock and unlock sequence several times with the locker empty so you are confident with the operation before you place any valuable items inside. Check that the hinges move freely, that the door seals properly when closed, and that the digital display (if your model has one) illuminates clearly when you enter your code. Many first-time users find it helpful to write their access code in a safe place separate from the locker itself, in case they need to reference it later or if another family member needs to know how to open it.
How often should I use and maintain my Digital Safety Locker?
There is no recommended frequency for using your Digital Safety Locker, because it is designed to be used whenever you need to secure items and can remain closed and locked for weeks or months without any problems or maintenance required. However, if you live in a very humid climate or near the sea, we suggest you occasionally check the interior for any moisture and ensure the locking mechanism has not become stiff, wiping the exterior with a dry cloth every few months to prevent dust buildup on the hinges and door edges. The battery (if your model uses batteries for the digital lock) should be checked every six months and replaced according to the manual's instructions, so that you do not find yourself locked out when the power runs too low.
You do not need to oil or lubricate the lock unless the manual specifically recommends it for your model, because many lockers use sealed mechanisms that do not benefit from additional lubrication and may actually accumulate dirt if you apply oil. Keep the locker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme heat, and avoid dropping it or subjecting it to physical shocks, as this can damage the locking mechanism or the hinges even though the external casing may look fine.
What should I know before buying this Digital Safety Locker?
The Digital Safety Locker FT-K8-700 is a secure storage device suitable for protecting valuables, important documents, jewelry, or other items you want to keep away from casual access, and it is appropriate for home use, office storage, or travel when you need portable security for your belongings. You should check that the size and capacity of this model will suit your needs by reviewing the dimensions provided on this product page, because if you need to store larger items or a greater volume of valuables, you may require a different locker size. This locker is designed for adult use and operation, so if you have young children in your home you should store it somewhere they cannot reach unsupervised.
Before you order, please be aware that the locker arrives as a single unit and does not include any mounting hardware unless specifically stated in the product listing, so if you wish to secure it to a wall or floor you will need to arrange appropriate fastening methods separately. The digital components (if present) should not be exposed to water or extreme moisture, and the locker should not be used in environments where it will be regularly submerged or splashed; it is designed for indoor storage and normal home conditions.
How will my Digital Safety Locker be delivered and does the price shown here include delivery?
Your Digital Safety Locker FT-K8-700 will be shipped to your address in Bangladesh using our standard courier service, and we will provide you with a tracking number so you can follow your parcel from our warehouse until it arrives at your door. The price displayed on this product page shows the cost of the locker itself, and the delivery charge is calculated separately at checkout based on your location within Bangladesh; you will see the final total (including both the product price and delivery fee) before you confirm your order, so there will be no hidden costs or surprises.
We package every locker carefully with protective padding to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, and you should inspect the parcel when it is delivered to confirm the seal is intact and there is no visible damage to the box. If your delivery arrives damaged or if the locker appears to have been tampered with before shipment, please refuse the parcel or contact us immediately with photographs, and we will send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
What happens if I forget my access code or the lock stops working?
If you forget the access code you set for your Digital Safety Locker, refer to the instruction manual that came with your unit, as it will contain information about backup access methods or master codes that Furnitex provides for this purpose. If the manual has been lost, contact our customer service team with proof of purchase and we can help you find replacement documentation or guide you through recovery options. Do not attempt to force the locker open with tools or physical damage, as this will destroy the mechanism and may make recovery of your items more difficult.
If the lock stops working or the digital display fails to respond even after you have checked the battery (if applicable), the locker may be covered under a manufacturer's guarantee depending on how long you have owned it and what caused the failure; contact us with details of the problem and we will advise you on whether repair or replacement is possible through Furnitex.
