DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (BGX-70) costs ৳69,680 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How can I spot a genuine BGX-70 imported from China versus a refilled or relabelled unit?
The BGX-70 arrives in ShampooBD packaging with a clear Furnitex import seal on the outer box, and you should examine this seal carefully before opening anything, as counterfeit units often have poorly printed labels or misaligned text that looks slightly off compared to the original. Inside, the digital locker itself carries a manufacturer's sticker on the back panel with a batch code and production date printed in clean, precise characters; if these appear faded, smudged, or hand-written, the unit has likely been refurbished and resold rather than brought in fresh from the factory in China.
Genuine BGX-70 lockers also arrive with sealed battery compartments and instruction manuals printed on proper quality paper with clear diagrams, whereas refilled units often show signs of previous opening such as scratches around the battery area or worn rubber seals that no longer grip tightly. The keypad buttons should feel uniform in their resistance and response, and if some buttons feel stiff or loose while others work smoothly, this suggests the unit has been opened and reassembled by someone other than the original manufacturer before reaching your hands.
What should I do when I first receive and set up my BGX-70 locker?
When your BGX-70 arrives at your door, place it on a clean, dry surface and leave it undisturbed for two hours before opening the battery compartment, as this allows the internal mechanisms to settle after transport and helps you avoid any damage from immediate use. Read through the printed instruction manual in full before touching the keypad, paying particular attention to the section on setting your personal PIN code, because this first setup step determines whether your locker will respond properly to your commands throughout its years of service in your home.
After inserting the batteries according to the diagram provided, test the keypad by pressing each button individually to confirm they all register clearly, then follow the manual's step-by-step instructions for programming your chosen PIN code, which should be a combination you can remember easily but that family members or visitors would struggle to guess. Open and close the locker at least five times during this first day to ensure the electronic lock engages smoothly every time, and do not attempt to force the door open if it feels stuck, as the mechanism may still be settling into its proper position.
How often should I use the locker, and what maintenance does it require each month?
Most households find that a BGX-70 locker gets opened two to four times each week for routine access to stored items, and this regular use actually helps keep the locking mechanism in good working condition because it exercises the electronic components and prevents them from becoming stiff or unreliable through long periods of inactivity. You should establish a simple monthly routine where you test the keypad's responsiveness by entering your PIN code and opening the locker even if you do not need to access anything inside, which gives you an early warning if the batteries are beginning to lose their charge or if any buttons are developing problems.
Every three months, replace the batteries with fresh alkaline units of the correct size as specified in your manual, because waiting until the keypad becomes sluggish can occasionally leave you temporarily locked out of your own locker, and preventative replacement avoids this inconvenience entirely. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth once a month to prevent dust buildup around the keypad and door edges, and keep the locker positioned in a spot where it does not receive direct sunlight or sit against damp walls, as these conditions can eventually affect the metal casing and electronic components over a period of years.
What results can a new user expect to see and experience with the BGX-70?
When you first lock your valuables inside a BGX-70 locker and hear the electronic mechanism engage with a clear, solid click, you immediately gain a level of security that differs noticeably from a traditional locked cupboard, because no casual intruder, visiting relative, or household worker can simply open it by finding a hidden key or forcing a weak lock. New users frequently report feeling a strong sense of relief within the first week of ownership, knowing that important documents such as passports, property deeds, insurance papers, and school certificates are stored safely behind steel walls rather than tucked away in a drawer where they might be misplaced or damaged.
You should expect the locking mechanism to respond instantly to your PIN code entry from day one, with no lag or hesitation between pressing the final digit and hearing the door unlock, and if you ever notice the keypad responding more slowly than it did on your first day, this is usually a sign that batteries are weakening rather than any fault with the unit itself. Families with teenagers and young adults often notice a significant change in household dynamics within a month of installation, as the presence of a secure locker eliminates casual borrowing of cash, jewellery, and valuables without permission, and reduces arguments about missing items or unclear ownership of stored goods.
What type of items work best inside the BGX-70, and what should never be stored?
The BGX-70 is designed specifically for small to medium-sized valuables such as gold ornaments, silver items, important documents, passports, cash, family heirlooms, medicines, insurance papers, and school or educational certificates, all of which fit comfortably inside the locker without requiring you to remove the shelving or force anything into tight spaces. Wet items, leaking containers, or anything with strong chemical odours should never be stored inside because the closed metal environment does not allow air circulation, and moisture or fumes can damage both the stored items and the internal electronic components of the locker itself.
Never place extremely heavy objects such as metal tools or machinery parts on top of the BGX-70 locker when it is closed, as this can strain the locking mechanism and potentially damage the electronic components housed within the door assembly. Similarly, avoid storing anything that might generate heat or emit volatile fumes, and do not attempt to store items larger than the internal compartment by leaving the door slightly ajar, because this disables the security feature and leaves your valuables at risk of theft or accidental disturbance by children.
What is the price of the BGX-70 shown on this page, and what charges apply to delivery?
The price displayed on this product page represents the current cost of the BGX-70 locker unit itself, and this figure was set at the time you are viewing this page, though prices can change over time based on shipping costs, supplier availability, and market conditions within Bangladesh. When you proceed to checkout, you will see the delivery charge calculated separately based on your delivery location, as some areas of Bangladesh require longer courier routes and therefore cost more to service than densely populated urban zones.
ShampooBD adds no hidden fees beyond the price shown and the delivery charge presented during checkout, so the total amount you pay equals the locker price plus the shipping cost to your address, with no additional taxes or handling fees appearing at the final stage of your purchase. If you wish to confirm the exact delivery charge before committing to buy, you can enter your district and area information during the early stages of checkout, and the system will display this fee clearly so you can decide whether to proceed with your order.
