ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-L450) costs ৳48,464 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD.
How can I be sure this ELAF locker isn't a refilled or relabelled counterfeit from China?
When your ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-L450) arrives from our supplier Furnitex, the first thing you should do is inspect the sealed box and all outer packaging for signs of tampering or previous opening. Genuine imported units come with intact factory sealing, clear printing on all labels, and a serial number that matches the documentation inside the box, so you can verify authenticity by checking these details against your invoice before you even open it.
The unit itself should have crisp, evenly applied branding on the metal body with no smudging, fading, or misalignment of the ELAF logo and model number FT-L450. Inside the packaging you will find the original user manual printed on quality paper with colour images and proper binding, along with warranty cards and certificates of origin, all of which should be present and undamaged in their protective wrapping to confirm you have received a genuine new product and not a refurbished or relabelled unit.
What is the correct way to install and position this locker in my home?
Once you receive your FT-L450, you need to select a location that is firm, level, and protected from moisture, direct heat sources, and areas prone to dampness or water exposure, such as near bathroom walls or under leaking pipes. The locker works best when placed in a bedroom, study, office corner, or living room where the flooring is completely even and stable, ensuring that the electronic locking mechanism operates smoothly every single time you use it without any jamming or misalignment of the door.
Before positioning it permanently, measure your chosen space and verify that there is sufficient clearance for the door to open fully without striking walls, furniture, or other obstacles in its path. The unit arrives fully assembled and ready to function immediately from the box, so you do not need to perform any construction or technical setup beyond finding the right location and ensuring it sits flat and secure on the ground before you begin entering your personal access code.
How often should I use this locker and what happens during my first month as a new user?
The ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-L450) is designed for regular daily use, and most households find that opening and closing it once or twice per day for accessing documents, jewellery, cash, or important papers becomes a natural routine within the first few weeks. When you first set up your locker, take time to memorise your chosen security code thoroughly, test the electronic keypad several times to feel comfortable with the button responsiveness, and ensure every family member who will access the locker practices using the code until they can enter it quickly and confidently.
During your initial month, you may notice the battery indicator light on the keypad, which is completely normal and simply shows that the system is functioning properly and drawing power as designed. The batteries inside will last for approximately two years under typical household usage patterns, so you should not expect to replace them frequently, but it is wise to keep spare batteries of the correct type available in your home so that you can perform a quick swap whenever the system alerts you that power is running low.
What documents and valuables can I safely store inside this unit?
Your ELAF locker is ideal for protecting all your family's most important papers, including passports, property deeds, title documents, insurance policies, birth certificates, educational qualifications, land registration papers, and any other official documents that would be difficult or impossible to replace if they were lost, stolen, or damaged by water or fire. The secure interior also serves perfectly for storing jewellery, watches, precious metals, gemstones, and other valuable accessories that you wish to keep safe from theft, accidental damage, or loss, ensuring that your family heirlooms and expensive items remain protected and hidden from view.
Many Bangladeshi families also use their digital locker to secure cash savings, fixed deposit certificates, investment documents, bank statements, and other financial records that contain sensitive information or represent significant monetary value, all of which benefit greatly from the protection that a locked, tamper-resistant unit provides. The locker's interior capacity is sufficient for the typical documents and small items that a household needs to safeguard, though you should not attempt to store extremely heavy objects that might put stress on the locking mechanism or the hinges.
Does the digital lock system require any special maintenance or code management practices?
The electronic keypad and locking mechanism on your FT-L450 require virtually no maintenance beyond occasional gentle cleaning with a soft, dry cloth to keep the button surfaces free from dust and debris that might accumulate over time. You should never use water, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials on the keypad, as moisture can damage the electronic components, and you should avoid pressing multiple buttons simultaneously or with excessive force, as the system is designed for normal fingertip pressure during code entry.
Your personal access code should be something that you and only trusted family members know, and the user manual that comes with your locker explains in detail how to change your code whenever you wish to do so, whether because you want increased security or because circumstances within your household have changed. We recommend that you never share your code with domestic workers, temporary visitors, or anyone else who does not absolutely need access, and you should consider changing your code annually or immediately if you ever suspect that someone else may have learned it through observation or other means.
What should I check before this locker is delivered and installed at my address?
Before your ELAF DIGITAL SAFETY LOCKER (FT-L450) arrives, you must ensure that your home address has adequate access for our courier partner's vehicle to approach and park safely, and that the route from the street to your front entrance, including stairways and doorways, is wide enough to accommodate a medium-sized furniture unit without requiring difficult maneuvering or disassembly. Measure the dimensions of your chosen installation spot carefully and verify that the locker will fit with some space remaining on all sides for ventilation and to allow the door to swing open without obstruction, as undersizing your space may prevent proper installation or create difficulties when you need to access your valuables.
The price shown on this page reflects the cost of the locker itself, and you should note that delivery charges are calculated separately and will be displayed during your checkout process based on your location within Bangladesh and the current courier rates. Once your locker arrives and you have verified that it matches the specifications on your invoice and shows no signs of damage or previous use, read through the entire user guide carefully and go through the setup procedure with all household members who will need to access the unit, so everyone understands how to use the digital system safely and correctly.
