How can you spot a genuine Furnitex FT-G4 chair from a counterfeit or locally refurbished version?
When your Furnitex gaming chair arrives from our authorized importer, the box itself tells an important story about authenticity that careful buyers should always examine first. The genuine imported pack will show clear Chinese manufacturer markings on multiple sides of the outer box, with precise printing that feels sharp and deliberate rather than blurry or faded, and you should find a holographic security label or verification code somewhere on the packaging that Furnitex includes as standard protection against counterfeits in the Bangladesh market.
Inside the box, every component bears consistent branding and manufacturing details—the armrests will have molded Furnitex markings, the metal frame will show consistent welding quality with no rough edges or amateur repairs, and the gas cylinder will have a permanent stamp indicating its automotive-grade origin rather than generic labeling. If you notice that fabric seams appear hand-stitched instead of machine-finished, or if the yellow upholstery shows uneven dye patterns suggesting a local re-covering job, you are almost certainly looking at a refilled or relabeled chair that has been repackaged to appear new. The genuine article arrives with all original hardware in sealed packets, factory foam that still holds its shape without compression marks, and a consistent weight that matches the specifications printed on the box—lightweight imitations often cut corners on internal structure to reduce shipping costs.
What should you do when you first receive and inspect your new gaming chair?
Before you assemble anything or sit down for the first time, give yourself permission to spend thirty minutes doing a thorough inspection that will either confirm authenticity or flag problems early while you still have return options available. Remove each component slowly from the box, checking that the five-wheel casters roll smoothly without catching or grinding sounds, that the backrest connects firmly to the base without wobbling when you apply gentle pressure, and that all four adjustable armrest sections move freely through their full ranges of motion in every direction without resistance or squeaking that suggests poor lubrication.
Examine the fabric surface under good light for any tears, stains that were not visible through packaging, or color fading that indicates the chair was stored in sunlight before shipping to you, and run your hand across all seams to ensure they are intact and secure rather than starting to unravel. Check that every bolt, screw, and fastener mentioned in the hardware packet is actually present—manufacturers sometimes leave items out in error, and discovering this before assembly prevents frustration and wasted time later. The gas cylinder should produce a smooth hissing sound when you press it repeatedly, which confirms the internal mechanism is functioning normally and ready to support height adjustments during years of regular use.
How often should you adjust the chair's armrests and what positioning works best?
The four-dimensional armrest system on this Furnitex model exists specifically because different body types, desk heights, and gaming positions require different support configurations, meaning you should feel empowered to adjust these components whenever your comfort changes rather than leaving them locked in one position permanently. Most users find that raising or lowering the armrests to match their desk height provides the foundation for good positioning, then rotating the angle inward or outward to match their shoulders' natural width prevents strain during extended gaming or work sessions that last several hours at a time.
Some people prefer moving the armrests forward slightly to rest their elbows closer to their body, while others pull them back to create more open space when they want to shift position frequently, so your ideal configuration may differ from another user's setup entirely and that is completely normal and expected. You might discover that you adjust the armrests three or four times during a single day as you switch between different activities—gaming, studying, or simply resting—and this flexibility is precisely why Furnitex invested in the four-axis design rather than offering fixed armrests that lock you into one uncomfortable position.
What can you expect during your first week of using this gaming chair?
New furniture always requires a brief adjustment period as materials settle and your body adapts to the support profile, so do not be surprised if the first few days feel slightly firmer than you anticipated before the high-density foam begins responding to your body weight and gradually conforms to your shape over time. The yellow fabric may shed tiny fibers onto dark clothing during these initial uses—this is completely normal and will diminish significantly after about a week, and you can minimize it by wiping the surface gently with a dry microfiber cloth every few days. The gas cylinder mechanism will continue to perform smoothly throughout this period, and the adjustable armrests will remain responsive to your positioning changes without any decrease in function or support quality.
Your first extended gaming session might reveal minor squeaking sounds from joints settling into their natural positions, but these typically fade away completely within days as everything aligns properly under normal use patterns. If you notice the chair feeling less stable than expected, double-check that all bolts remain tight by carefully reviewing the assembly instructions and testing each connection point—vibrations from movement can occasionally loosen fasteners slightly, and a quick five-minute check often resolves this issue permanently.
Who should think carefully before choosing this particular gaming chair model?
This chair's dimensions and weight capacity work well for most adult users, but people who are significantly taller than average or require specialized support for medical conditions should measure the seat height and backrest dimensions against their individual needs before committing to purchase. The yellow fabric, while beautiful and practical for resisting visible dust, may show discoloration over time if exposed to direct sunlight daily, so users in rooms with large west-facing windows should consider whether the color will remain aesthetically pleasing or whether they would prefer protecting the chair with window treatments or choosing a different location within their space.
The chair's suitability for very young teenagers depends on their size and the height of their desk, as the height adjustment range works best when matched to standard desk dimensions—unusually tall or short work surfaces might limit your ability to find the perfect armrest height despite the chair's flexibility. If you have mobility limitations that require fixed armrests for stability and transfer assistance, this model's moveable four-axis system might not provide the rigid support you need, and you should explore alternatives designed specifically for accessibility requirements.
How does pricing work and what delivery charges should you expect?
The price displayed on this product page reflects the chair itself in its complete imported condition, and ShampooBD adds delivery charges based on your specific location within Bangladesh—you will see the exact delivery cost calculated during checkout once you enter your address, allowing you to make your final purchasing decision with complete transparency about the total amount you will pay. Express delivery options may be available to certain areas, though standard nationwide courier delivery represents the most economical shipping method for larger furniture items like gaming chairs that benefit from proper handling and tracking throughout their journey to your home.
If the displayed price seems significantly lower than you anticipated or if a seller offers this exact model at an unusually reduced rate elsewhere, exercise caution and verify authenticity carefully, as pricing that seems too good to be true often indicates counterfeit products or chairs that have been assembled from salvaged components rather than arriving in genuine factory condition. ShampooBD maintains consistent pricing that reflects the legitimate costs of importing authentic Furnitex products through proper channels, and this consistency actually protects you by providing confidence that you are purchasing a genuine article rather than a questionable bargain that might disappoint after arrival.
