Electric Height-Adjustable Elevating Desk (FT-Y100) Black Brown Top costs ৳34,944 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳43,680.
How Can I Verify This Desk Is Genuinely Imported from Furnitex and Not a Counterfeit or Refurbished Unit?
When your FT-Y100 arrives from our Furnitex shipment, the packaging itself tells an important story about authenticity that you should examine carefully before opening anything. Genuine imported units from Furnitex arrive in sealed factory packaging with clear Furnitex branding, intact security seals, and documentation bearing the importer's official details, whereas refilled or relabelled copies often show signs of previous handling such as tape residue, faded printing, or inconsistent label placement that suggests the box has been opened and resealed.
Inside the box, you'll find the motor controller panel should display crisp lettering with the FT-Y100 model designation, and all wiring should appear factory-fresh with consistent insulation and no splices or repairs visible along the power cord or motor connections. The black brown top surface finish on genuine units carries an even, professional appearance across its entire expanse, whereas refurbished or relabelled desks sometimes show uneven staining, inconsistent colour depth, or visible repair marks where damage was covered over with matching stain before resale.
What Is the Correct Way to Set Up and Operate This Electric Height-Adjustable Desk for Best Performance?
Before you plug in the motor, position your desk on a completely level and stable floor surface, ensuring that no part of the frame or base wobbles when you apply gentle downward pressure from different corners. Your electrical outlet should be within safe cable reach, meaning the power cord should not need to stretch across your work area or run underneath foot traffic, and you must verify that the outlet is grounded and rated for the motor's electrical requirements as specified in your product documentation.
Once positioned and connected, test the height adjustment mechanism slowly and deliberately, beginning at the lowest setting and raising the desk gradually while watching for any unusual sounds, jerking motions, or hesitation in the motor's response, which would indicate that you should stop immediately and contact Furnitex support rather than continuing to operate a potentially faulty unit. During height adjustment, keep your work surface completely clear of drinks, breakable items, or anything valuable that could shift or fall as the desk rises and lowers.
How Often Should I Use the Height Adjustment Feature, and What Should a First-Time User Expect During Initial Operation?
The electric motor is designed to handle frequent height transitions throughout your working day, so you may safely adjust the desk between sitting and standing positions multiple times per hour according to your comfort preferences and your personal work routine, with no concern about wearing out the mechanism through regular use. When you operate the adjustment buttons for the first time, you may notice a slight vibration through the frame or hear a quiet mechanical humming, which are normal characteristics of electric motor operation and do not indicate any problem whatsoever.
Over your first week of ownership, allow yourself time to discover the height positions that feel most comfortable for sitting work and for standing work, and you may find that your preference shifts slightly as your body adapts to the different postures, so avoid locking in a single height setting permanently until you have experimented with several different positions across several days of work. The desk's responsiveness to the adjustment buttons should remain consistent and smooth, and if you ever notice the motor becoming slower, noisier, or less responsive than it was initially, that change warrants a service inquiry to Furnitex rather than continued use.
What Weight Can This Desk Safely Support Without Risking Motor Failure or Structural Damage?
Your FT-Y100 has been engineered with a specific maximum load capacity that encompasses the combined weight of everything you place on the work surface, including monitors, keyboards, documents, desk lamps, and any other items you keep on top, so you must calculate the total before loading and ensure you do not exceed the manufacturer's stated limit, which appears in your product documentation. This weight limit protects not only the structural integrity of the desk frame itself but also the electric motor's ability to raise and lower smoothly and safely, because motors operating beyond their design load experience accelerated wear and may eventually fail to function.
Should you approach or exceed the weight capacity and then attempt height adjustment, the motor may strain audibly, move more slowly than usual, or stop responding entirely, at which point you should immediately remove weight from the surface and allow the motor to rest for several minutes before attempting another adjustment. If the motor does not resume normal operation after removing excess load, contact Furnitex support, as this indicates potential internal damage that requires professional assessment.
How Should I Care for the Black Brown Top Surface and the Electric Motor to Extend the Desk's Working Life?
The black brown work surface benefits from regular gentle cleaning with a soft, dry microfibre cloth that lifts away dust and light debris without introducing moisture that could seep into the wood finish or the underlying lamination structure, and you should avoid using water, harsh chemicals, or abrasive scouring pads that can strip away the protective coating or create permanent marks and discoloration. Spills must be wiped away immediately with a dry cloth, because allowing liquids to sit on the surface allows them to absorb into the material and potentially damage the finish from within.
The electric motor and all wiring components must be kept completely dry and away from moisture sources such as humidifiers, open windows during rain, or areas prone to condensation, and you should never attempt to disassemble, adjust, or repair the motor mechanism yourself even if a problem arises, because internal motor components require professional knowledge and tools to service correctly. If the motor malfunctions or makes unusual grinding, squealing, or clicking sounds that it did not make previously, stop using it immediately and contact Furnitex rather than continuing to operate a potentially damaged unit.
Does Furnitex Provide Warranty Coverage and Support Services for Repairs or Replacements?
Your purchase of this FT-Y100 desk includes warranty protection whose specific terms, duration, and coverage conditions are outlined in the documentation that accompanies your unit, and you should review these terms carefully upon delivery so you understand exactly what scenarios qualify for repair or replacement at no additional cost to you. Furnitex stands behind their imported products, and should a manufacturing defect become apparent during the coverage period, you have the right to contact the supplier for service without penalty or additional charges.
If a problem develops, reach out to Furnitex with your proof of purchase and a clear description of the issue, and the supplier will advise you on next steps, which may include arranging for repair at your location, providing replacement parts, or in some cases replacing the entire unit if the defect cannot be corrected, depending on the nature of the problem and your warranty terms. Keep your original packaging and receipt for the duration of the warranty period, as these documents often serve as proof of the purchase date and authenticity when processing warranty claims.
