Understanding Your FT-B303E Bar Stool: What You Need to Know
The FT-B303E is a classic black bar stool imported from China by Furnitex, designed for kitchen islands, counters, and bar-height seating. This product comes as a single unit and is built to support comfortable seating at elevated surfaces. Before you purchase, it's important to understand how to verify authenticity and what to expect when your stool arrives.
Bar stools are functional furniture pieces that require proper setup and care. We want to help you make an informed choice and get the most out of your purchase. This guide will walk you through authenticity checks, proper assembly if needed, maintenance tips, and answers to common questions from customers in Bangladesh.
How to Verify Your Bar Stool Is Genuinely Imported
When your FT-B303E arrives, check for the Furnitex import documentation and packaging labels. Genuine imported pieces from Furnitex carry clear labeling showing the manufacturer details, country of origin (China), and the model number FT-B303E. The packaging should be sturdy and professional, with proper cushioning to protect the stool during transport. Look for consistent branding across all labels—mismatched fonts, spelling errors, or faded printing are red flags for counterfeit goods.
The stool itself should have consistent black finish across all surfaces with no obvious paint drips, rough edges, or discoloration. Check the base and legs carefully; they should be evenly finished. If you notice the black coating is uneven, the model number doesn't match what's on your receipt, or the packaging looks damaged in a way that seems deliberate, contact us immediately with photos. We stand behind every product we bring in through Furnitex and want to ensure you receive exactly what you've paid for.
Setting Up and Using Your Bar Stool Properly
Upon arrival, inspect all parts before assembly. The FT-B303E may arrive partially assembled or fully assembled—check your delivery note. If assembly is needed, ensure you have a clean, level surface to work on. Tighten all bolts and connectors firmly but do not over-tighten, as this can crack or strip the material. Place the stool on a level floor; uneven surfaces can cause wobbling and make the stool unsafe to use. Test stability by applying gentle downward pressure before sitting.
When using your bar stool, sit centered on the seat rather than on the edges. Avoid leaning back or tilting the stool, as this puts stress on the legs and can lead to damage or tipping. The stool is designed for seating at bar-height counters, not for use as a stepping ladder or storage. If you hear creaking or notice any movement after a few weeks of use, check all connection points and tighten gently as needed. Regular inspection helps catch any wear early.
Maintenance and Care for Long-Lasting Use
The black finish on your FT-B303E requires basic care to maintain its appearance. Dust the stool regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap and water—never use harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the black coating. Dry the stool immediately after cleaning to prevent water marks or corrosion on metal parts. Avoid placing the stool in direct sunlight for extended periods, as the black color may fade over time.
Check the connection points monthly, especially if the stool is used frequently. If you notice any rust developing on metal parts, wipe with a dry cloth immediately and consider applying a light coat of clear protective oil. Do not use the stool outdoors or in excessively humid environments unless it is specifically rated for outdoor use. Store in a dry place if not in use for extended periods. These simple steps will help your bar stool remain stable, attractive, and safe for years of use.
