How can you spot a genuine Vicks Vaporub tin from a refilled copy?
Real imported Vicks tins have crisp, perfectly aligned printing on the label with no smudging or faded text anywhere. The metal seal under the lid should be intact and untampered, and the tin itself feels substantial and doesn't rattle when shaken gently. Check the batch code on the base—genuine packs from ukdirectbd carry clear, deeply stamped numbers that match official Vicks production records, never handwritten or unclear marks.
What's the right way to apply this balm and how often should you use it?
You rub a small amount directly onto clean, dry skin where you need it, using gentle circular motions until it feels warm. Most users apply it two to three times daily, but you should wait at least four hours between applications on the same area to let your skin rest. First-time users often find the warming sensation noticeable within a few minutes, and the scent is quite strong, so start with less than you think you'll need.
What should this tin look like when it arrives, and how do you keep it working well?
Your package should arrive with the metal tin sealed tight, showing no dents, rust spots, or crushed edges that might have let air in. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight, and always screw the lid on firmly after each use to prevent the balm from hardening. A properly sealed tin kept in a bedroom or bathroom drawer will stay in good condition for several months.
