How do I know if my pack is genuine?

Similac 2 imported packs carry a protective hologram or security seal that counterfeiters struggle to replicate accurately. Examine the printing quality—genuine packs show crisp text and sharp logos, while refilled or relabelled versions often display blurry or uneven lettering. Check that the batch code and expiry date are embossed or laser-printed into the material itself, not simply stamped on top, as this is a reliable sign of authenticity.

What is the right way to prepare and feed this formula?

Always boil water and let it cool to around 50°C before mixing with the powder in the ratio your health worker recommends for your child's age. Your baby should receive fresh portions at each feed; do not store mixed formula for more than two hours at room temperature. Follow your healthcare provider's guidance on feeding frequency and quantity, as every child's needs differ during this stage.

What should first-time users know about this stage?

Similac 2 is formulated for children after their first six months, when nutritional needs shift and digestive systems mature. Your child may take a few days to adjust to a new formula, so watch for any signs that concern you and speak with your health worker. This 400g pack allows you to trial the product without committing to a larger supply, making it ideal for families introducing it gradually.
