How can I spot a genuine Sebamed tube from a fake or refilled one?
When your Sebamed Baby Diaper Rash Cream arrives, inspect the seal around the tube cap immediately. The original packaging will have crisp, clean printing with no smudging, and the tube itself should feel evenly weighted and full. If the seal looks loose, the printing is blurry, or the tube feels light or half-empty, contact the seller right away because this signals a refilled or counterfeit pack.
How much should I use and how often will my baby need it?
Apply a thin layer only to the nappy area during each diaper change, using roughly a pea-sized amount per application. Most babies need this cream at least twice daily, though some families use it more often depending on their child's skin. One 100ml tube typically lasts between four and eight weeks when used this way, so you'll go through them steadily as your baby grows.
What should I expect when I first start using this cream?
In the first week, you're learning how little product your baby actually needs and how your child's skin responds to regular application. Some parents see visible changes within a few days, while others notice gradual improvement over two weeks of consistent use. Always follow the directions printed on the tube, and speak to your doctor if you see no change or if redness increases after one week of use.
