What You're Getting: MS Smart LED Headlight Specifications
The MS Smart LED Headlight is a high-output automotive lighting upgrade designed to fit most standard car models. This unit produces up to 3,20,000 lumens of brightness, making it significantly brighter than conventional halogen headlights. It comes with a 1-year replacement warranty from the importer, Ruhan Motors, giving you confidence in your purchase. The product has been imported to Bangladesh to meet the growing demand for reliable, modern vehicle lighting solutions.
This headlight is classified as a Car Interior product, though it functions as an external lighting component. Before purchasing, confirm that your vehicle's headlight socket and electrical system are compatible with LED upgrades. Some older vehicles may require additional wiring or adapter kits, which are not included in this package. Always check your car's manual or consult a qualified mechanic to ensure proper installation.
How to Spot a Genuine MS Smart LED Headlight
Counterfeit automotive lighting products flood the Bangladesh market, and telling the real from the fake requires careful inspection. When your package arrives from Ruhan Motors, check first that all seals are intact and the packaging shows no signs of resealing or damage. Genuine MS Smart LED units have clear, consistent branding on the casing with proper spelling and logo alignment. The connector should be robust and precisely molded, not loose or rough to the touch.
Inside the box, you should find proper documentation in legible print, warranty cards with complete information, and the headlight itself wrapped in protective foam or plastic. Counterfeit versions often come with poor-quality packaging, smudged or missing labels, and hastily printed warranty cards. The LED bulb element inside a genuine unit will be evenly spaced and symmetrical; fake versions often have uneven diode placement. If the price seems unusually low compared to what you see here, that is a red flag. Always purchase from trusted importers like Ruhan Motors to ensure authenticity.
Correct Installation and Safety Precautions
Installing an LED headlight is not a plug-and-play task for every vehicle. Before opening your package, disconnect your car battery to prevent electrical shorts. Consult your vehicle's owner manual to locate the headlight housing and understand how to safely remove the old unit. Most modern cars require removal of the front bumper or interior trim panels to access headlights properly. If you are unfamiliar with automotive electrical work, have a qualified mechanic perform the installation.
Once installed, test both the high beam and low beam functions before driving. LED units generate less heat than halogen bulbs but may still become warm during extended use. Ensure the headlight housing has adequate ventilation and that no wires are pinched or damaged during reassembly. The 3,20,000 lumen output is designed for night driving safety, but always comply with local traffic laws regarding headlight brightness and aiming. Improper installation or aiming can reduce effectiveness and potentially blind oncoming drivers.
Understanding the 1-Year Replacement Warranty
This product carries a 1-year replacement warranty provided by Ruhan Motors, the importer. This means if the headlight fails due to manufacturing defects within 12 months of purchase, the importer will replace it. The warranty covers failures such as LED bulbs burning out prematurely, electrical circuit faults, or physical defects in materials and construction. Normal wear and tear, damage from improper installation, or accidents are not covered under warranty.
To claim warranty service, retain your receipt and packaging. Contact Ruhan Motors with proof of purchase and a description of the fault. The warranty is honored only through the importer; counterfeit or unauthorized retailers cannot honor this guarantee. This is another reason to buy from trusted sources. If your unit fails outside the warranty period, replacement parts may be available, but you would need to arrange and pay for repairs separately.
Maintenance Tips for Long-Lasting Performance
LED headlights require minimal maintenance compared to halogen bulbs, but a few practices extend their life. Keep the headlight lens clean by washing it regularly with a soft cloth and appropriate automotive cleaner. Dirt and grime buildup reduces light output even if the unit itself is functioning correctly. During monsoon season in Bangladesh, check that water is not seeping into the headlight housing, as this can damage internal circuits and shorten lifespan.
Avoid touching the LED bulb element with bare hands if you ever need to remove and reinstall the unit. Oils from skin can cause hot spots and premature failure. If your vehicle sits unused for extended periods, disconnect the battery to prevent trickle discharge that can degrade internal components. Store the original packaging and documentation in case you need to claim warranty service. When you eventually upgrade or replace the headlight, dispose of the old unit responsibly; LED units contain electronic components and should not be thrown in regular waste.
