How do I spot a genuine Icy Hot jar from an import shop like ShampooBD?
When your Icy Hot Original arrives, examine the jar closely for a factory seal that shows no signs of tampering or previous opening. The label should be printed clearly with sharp edges and correct spelling throughout, and the batch code on the base must be legible and match what's recorded on import documents. If the seal looks loose, the label feels glued on top of an older one, or the balm inside appears separated or discolored, do not use it—contact the seller immediately.
What is the right way to apply this balm and how often should I use it?
Apply only a small amount—about the size of a rice grain—directly onto clean, dry skin where you need relief, then rub gently for a minute or two. You can use it once or twice daily as needed, but always test a tiny patch on your inner arm first to check how your skin responds. Wash your hands thoroughly after application unless you are treating your hands, and never apply it under clothing, bandages, or on broken skin.
What feeling should I expect when I first use Icy Hot Original?
Within one to three minutes of rubbing the balm in, you will notice a warming sensation building on the skin, followed by a cooling effect that provides comfort. This dual-action sensation is normal and temporary; most users find it fades within fifteen to thirty minutes. If you experience any burning, rash, or allergic reaction, wash the area immediately and discontinue use.
- 3.5 ounce sealed jar imported directly with tamper-evident closure.
- Warming then cooling dual-action formula for external skin application only.
