How do you spot a genuine Dirty Works Shower Puff from a counterfeit?

Authentic puffs imported by ukdirectbd arrive in original UK packaging with clear printing and no spelling errors on the label. The mesh netting itself should feel uniformly dense, springy, and free of any chemical smell that suggests relabeling or repackaging. Counterfeit versions often have loose or matted mesh, blurry text on the packet, or an unusual odor that signals the puff has been refilled or the original contents replaced.

What is the right way to use your shower puff and how often should you use it?

Wet the puff under warm running water, apply your chosen shower gel or soap directly onto the mesh, then rub it gently over your body to build lather. You can use it every single day for your daily wash without damaging the mesh, as long as you rinse it thoroughly after each use. First-time users often expect thick foam within seconds—the fine netting does create this, but the amount of lather depends on how much product you apply and how vigorously you rub.

How long will your shower puff last and what maintenance does it need?

A single puff typically lasts for several months with consistent daily use, provided you hang it on a hook or clip to air-dry between showers rather than leaving it in a closed, damp space. Squeeze out excess water before hanging it up so it dries faster and stays fresh. Store it away from direct sunlight and intense heat, which can weaken the mesh over time.
