Diamond X80 Smart Car Android Player costs ৳15,950 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳16,500.
How can you spot a counterfeit Diamond X80 when it arrives at your door?
The Diamond X80 you receive from an authorised importer like Ruhan Motors arrives in sealed packaging with consistent printing quality, clear serial numbers on both the box and the device itself, and properly aligned logos that feel crisp rather than blurry or lifted. When you open the box, you will find the original manual, warranty card bearing the importer's name and contact details, and all components wrapped in factory packaging rather than reused or mismatched materials that suggest the unit has been opened and restocked before reaching you.
Counterfeit or refilled units often display several warning signs: the serial number on the back may not match the one printed on your receipt, the Android system inside may boot into a heavily modified or unfamiliar launcher that looks nothing like standard Android, and the touch response on the screen may feel sluggish or unresponsive even though the unit powers on perfectly fine. If you notice the knobs are loose, the screen has visible scratches before you have touched it, or the GPS locks onto your location much slower than expected in your first use, you are likely holding a refurbished unit that has been relabelled and sold as new.
What does the first week of ownership look like, and what should you realistically expect?
During your initial setup, the Diamond X80 will take approximately five to ten minutes to power on completely and allow you to navigate through the Android system for the first time, which is normal behaviour for any new car multimedia device with this processor specification and storage capacity. You may find that the first GPS lock takes longer than subsequent locks because the device is downloading satellite data for the first time, and this delay is entirely expected rather than a sign of malfunction.
First-time users often discover that the dual knobs feel wonderfully tactile and responsive compared to touchscreen-only systems, allowing you to adjust volume and scroll through menus without removing your eyes from the road for extended periods. Your music files, offline maps, and apps will load smoothly throughout that first week, and you will notice no stuttering or lag when switching between navigation and audio playback, which speaks to the adequacy of the 4GB RAM for real-world driving situations.
How should you correctly install this unit, and what preparatory steps matter most?
Before connecting the Diamond X80 to your vehicle's wiring, you must identify the existing car stereo's power, ground, and speaker wires using your vehicle's manual or consulting with a professional installer who understands your specific car model. The unit accepts standard automotive power connections, but improper grounding can result in noise through the speakers or erratic touchscreen behaviour, so taking time to run clean, separate ground cables to a metal point on your car's chassis pays dividends in reliable operation.
Once wired correctly, you will boot the system and run through the initial setup wizard, which asks you to select your preferred language, time zone, and whether you want to enable GPS functionality immediately or later. Mounting the unit securely in your dashboard opening and ensuring the knobs are tightened properly so they do not wobble during driving ensures that long-term use remains comfortable and that accidental knob presses do not distract you while navigating.
How frequently should you update the system, and what maintenance keeps it running smoothly?
The Diamond X80 benefits from periodic software updates that Ruhan Motors may release to address minor bugs or improve GPS accuracy, and you can check for these updates through the device settings menu by connecting to a wireless network at home or in an office where stable internet access is available. You do not need to update constantly, but checking quarterly ensures you have the latest improvements without disrupting your daily driving routine.
Maintenance is straightforward: occasionally clear the app cache through the settings menu if you notice the system responding slightly slower than usual, keep the storage space at least ten percent free rather than filling all 64GB to bursting, and avoid exposing the unit to extreme heat or moisture that could damage the internal components. These simple habits extend the life of your device and maintain the snappy performance you experienced in week one.
What type of driver benefits most from this unit, and who might prefer alternatives?
The Diamond X80 suits drivers who spend considerable time navigating without their phone, who value physical knob controls over constant touchscreen tapping, and who want genuine offline GPS functionality without paying subscription fees for premium navigation apps. If you regularly connect via Bluetooth to stream music, need to load hundreds of songs onto the device itself, or want to run custom Android applications in your vehicle, this unit's 4GB RAM and 64GB storage make it a practical choice.
However, if you prefer the absolute latest touchscreen interface without physical buttons, require constant cloud connectivity, or drive a vehicle with a highly integrated factory infotainment system that resists aftermarket units, you may find alternative solutions better suited to your needs. Similarly, if your car's dashboard space is extremely limited or unusual in shape, you should measure carefully against the Diamond X80's dimensions before purchasing.
What should you know about delivery, pricing, and what happens if something arrives damaged?
The price shown on this page reflects the current market rate for the Diamond X80 with full importer warranty, and the delivery charge displayed at checkout covers shipping to your address within the coverage area that ShampooBD serves nationwide. You will find both figures clearly stated before you commit to payment, allowing you to see the complete cost before your cash on delivery payment is collected.
If your unit arrives with visible physical damage, non-functional components, or screen defects that were not your doing, contact ShampooBD immediately with photographs and your order number so they can arrange a replacement or refund through Ruhan Motors. The importer stands behind this product, and claims made within the standard warranty window receive professional attention rather than dismissal.
