How can you spot whether this imported chair is genuine from Furnitex?
When your Comfortable Luxury Boss Chair (FT-HM09) Pro Chocolate arrives from our importer Furnitex, the first thing you should examine is the manufacturing label and branding details affixed to the underside or back of the chair itself. A genuine imported piece from China through Furnitex will carry consistent printing on this label, with clear lettering that shows the model number FT-HM09, the colour designation Pro Chocolate, and the importer's name without any smudging or uneven ink application that might suggest a rushed relabelling job.
Refilled or locally relabelled chairs often display packaging that feels lighter or flimsy compared to the sturdy cardboard that genuine imports arrive in, and the foam cushioning inside will appear aged or compressed rather than uniformly dense, which suggests the chair has been sitting in storage for months before being repackaged as new. The chocolate brown upholstery on an authentic unit from this production run should have an even, consistent dye with no fading patches, and when you run your hand across the fabric during delivery inspection, it should feel smooth and uniform rather than showing worn areas that indicate previous use by another owner.
What exactly should you check and verify when the chair is delivered to your home?
Before you accept delivery, ask the courier to place the chair in your chosen room and open the packaging in front of you so you can inspect the frame, wheels, and adjustment mechanisms while the delivery representative is still present, because this creates a record of the chair's condition at the moment it entered your home. Look carefully at the five-point base and each of the four wheels to ensure they roll smoothly without sticking or grinding sounds, then test the height adjustment lever by pumping it several times to confirm the pneumatic cylinder responds with firm, even resistance rather than sudden drops or sluggish movement.
Verify that the backrest reclines without creaking or binding, that all bolt connections on the base are hand-tight and show no signs of rust or corrosion, and that the chocolate brown colour on the cushioning and backrest is uniform across all surfaces without discolouration, water marks, or stains that might indicate this unit was previously displayed or used. Take a photograph of any damage you notice at this moment, and contact us immediately with those images if anything appears misaligned, cracked, or worn beyond what would be normal for a brand-new imported chair.
How should you position and set up this boss chair once it arrives at your address?
Your new chair requires a stable, level floor surface to function properly, so place it on hard flooring such as tiles or wooden boards rather than on uneven carpet that might cause the base to tilt or the wheels to bind when you attempt to swivel or roll the seat. The chocolate brown upholstery will maintain its colour better if you position the chair away from windows where strong afternoon sunlight can fade the fabric over months of exposure, and ensure that your workspace has enough open floor area on all sides so the chair can roll freely in any direction without its armrests or backrest striking a wall or desk edge.
Adjust the seat height so that when you sit with your feet flat on the floor, your thighs are parallel to the ground and your knees form a 90-degree angle, then fine-tune the backrest recline tension so it supports your lower spine without forcing your torso too far backward, and if your workspace requires it, rotate the seat to face your desk and test that all wheels move without resistance before you begin your working day. Keep the chair indoors in a climate-controlled room away from excessive heat, direct moisture, or damp air, because the foam cushioning and metal components can deteriorate faster in humid conditions common in some parts of Bangladesh during monsoon season.
What kind of daily care will keep your chocolate brown chair in excellent working condition?
Once or twice each week, use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down all surfaces of the chair, paying particular attention to the chocolate brown upholstery and the plastic or leather components of the armrests and backrest, because dust and fine particles gradually accumulate and can make the fabric appear dull or aged long before the chair has reached the end of its useful life. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing pads that can strip the colour from the chocolate finish or tear the upholstery, and instead rely on barely damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild soap if you need to address a stubborn mark or stain.
Check the adjustment handles, the pneumatic cylinder lever, and each of the four wheels every two weeks by operating them fully and listening for any grinding or squeaking sounds that might indicate internal wear, and if you notice resistance or unusual noises, apply a light machine oil sparingly to the moving parts rather than forcing the mechanism, which could cause permanent damage. Keep eating, drinking, and other activities that might result in spills away from the chair itself, because food particles and liquid stains on the brown upholstery are difficult to remove completely and can leave permanent discolouration if left unattended for several hours or days.
Who should think carefully before choosing this particular chair for their workspace?
If your body weight exceeds the maximum load rating specified for the FT-HM09 model, this chair will not provide safe support and extended use could damage the pneumatic cylinder or crack the base, so please verify the weight capacity before you place your order and choose a reinforced model if you fall outside the recommended range. People with specific spinal conditions or mobility challenges should test the chair briefly before committing to full-time use, because while this boss chair provides general back support suitable for most office work, it may not offer the specialized support required for certain medical situations, and you should consult with your healthcare provider or physiotherapist if you have concerns about whether standard office seating is appropriate for your individual needs.
If you have severe allergies to synthetic upholstery materials or foam cushioning, you may want to confirm the exact composition of the materials used in this chocolate brown unit before the chair arrives, because some people experience discomfort or allergic reactions to certain manufacturing compounds, and once the chair is in your home, exposure to these materials may become difficult to avoid during your working hours.
What is included in the price shown on this page, and how will your chair arrive?
The amount displayed on this product page represents the cost of the Comfortable Luxury Boss Chair (FT-HM09) Pro Chocolate itself, and the delivery charge is calculated and shown separately in your shopping cart, allowing you to understand the full total cost before you confirm your purchase and proceed to payment. Our courier partners will contact you by telephone one day before they plan to arrive at your address, giving you an opportunity to confirm that someone will be home to receive the chair and inspect it immediately upon delivery, because accepting a package and then discovering damage hours later makes it more difficult to document the issue accurately.
The chair arrives boxed and will require basic assembly of the base if it has been disassembled for shipping, which typically involves bolting the five-point base to the pneumatic cylinder and attaching the wheels, a process that takes most people between 15 and 30 minutes with a basic wrench or socket set. Have the delivery representative place the unopened box in your chosen room before opening it, so that if any damage is visible in the packaging itself, you can refuse the delivery and we can arrange a replacement unit to be sent to you instead, protecting you from the inconvenience of accepting a damaged chair and having to pursue a return afterward.
