Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil Mediterranean Blend 250ml costs ৳589 in Bangladesh. It is in stock and ships cash on delivery nationwide from Shampoo BD. It was previously ৳700.
How do you spot a genuine Colavita bottle from a refilled fake?
When your package arrives, inspect the glass bottle for an intact factory seal—any sign of tampering means the oil may have been decanted and refilled by someone else. The label should be crisp and properly adhered, with no peeling edges or smudged printing that suggests relabelling. Check that the batch code and best-before date are printed clearly and match Colavita's standard format, not handwritten or applied as a sticker over the original.
What is the right way to use this oil and how often should you use it?
You can drizzle this oil over finished dishes, use it for salad dressing, or incorporate it into cooking at moderate temperatures—it works well for sautéing vegetables and light pan-frying. Start with a teaspoon or two per serving since the flavour is concentrated, and adjust to your taste preference over your first week of use. Most households find one bottle lasts several weeks when used this way, so there is no need to rush.
What should a new user expect when opening this oil for the first time?
The bottle will smell rich and fruity, with a slightly peppery note typical of Mediterranean blends—this is normal and confirms authenticity. The colour is deep golden to green-tinged, and you may notice sediment particles at the bottom, which are natural plant solids and safe to consume. After opening, keep the cap sealed between uses and store in a cool, dark cupboard to preserve flavour for three to four months.
