How do I know if this bottle is genuine and not refilled locally?
A genuine Beauty of Joseon serum arrives in its original Korean packaging with a hologram or security sticker on the box that feels raised and detailed. The batch code printed on both the box and bottle base should match exactly, and the expiry date must be stamped clearly in the same format across both surfaces. When you open it, the serum should be clear amber without cloudiness, separation, or any smell of alcohol or synthetic fragrance masking a cheap base.
How much should I use and how often will one bottle last?
Two to three drops per application is enough because this is a concentrated serum, so apply it to clean skin morning and evening before your regular moisturiser. One 30ml bottle lasts a single user roughly three to four months with consistent twice-daily use, and you will notice the formula absorbs within one minute without leaving a sticky residue. First-time users should patch-test on their inner arm for forty-eight hours before applying to your full face, since propolis and niacinamide together can cause slight tingling if your skin is sensitive.
Where should I store this serum to keep it working properly?
Keep the sealed bottle in a cool, dark cupboard or drawer away from direct sunlight and heat sources, ideally at room temperature between fifteen and twenty-five degrees Celsius. After opening, always screw the cap back tightly immediately after each use, and avoid storing it in a steamy bathroom where moisture and humidity will degrade the formula over time. Stored correctly, your serum remains effective for at least six months after you first open it, though the amber glass bottle protects against light damage naturally.
