Toddler Nutrition in Bangladesh: How NAN Optipro 3 Supports 1-3 Year Olds
The toddler years (1-3 years) are a crucial nutritional window in Bangladesh. Many toddlers become picky eaters just as their nutritional needs are highest. NAN Optipro 3 is designed to fill the gaps. Here is how it helps.
Common Nutritional Gaps in Bangladeshi Toddlers
- Iron deficiency: Over 60% of children under 5 in Bangladesh have low iron — impacts cognitive development, immune function, and energy
- Vitamin D: Limited sun exposure and low dietary intake create widespread Vitamin D deficiency
- Calcium: Bangladesh diets are often low in dairy and calcium-rich vegetables
- Omega-3 DHA: Insufficient fatty fish in toddler diets
- Zinc: Important for growth and immune defence
